Batsy's Justice League design is my personal favorite, although Toddman's right: JL and JLU used the same design, so they didn't need to be listed separately.

It's probably because I watched the series since I was kid, but the design from B:TAS will always be the Batman I refer back to. JL/JLU Batman comes in a close second though.

Uh, no offense, but the Justice League and Justice League Unlimited designs are one and the same. The designs for Batman on The Batman seasons 1-3 and 4-5 are different designs.

JL/JLU's design is the perfect one. It's a mix of the color of the original design, with the logical single bat/pocket belt of the second design, then going all the way back to Bob Kane with the ears. Finally, it's topped off with the heels foreshadowing Batman Beyond. It's my favorite design.

The Batman, definitely. When I saw that design, I immediately felt the need to check out the show.

TNBA, JL/JLU and Old Bruce all tie for me. They're all cool in their own ways, but a little plain.

I really don't like the majority of the B:TAS designs. They just seem to be sloppy, unrefined, and uninspired "preliminary" versions of Bruce Timm's later designs. Batman's look was no exception, with my biggest problems being his one jowl, his hooked, beak-like nose and his Nike swoosh eyes.

I like the CURRENT THE BATMAN design. It's actually slightly more detailed than the first three seasons but ever so subtle. Followed closely by JLU's.

I know a lot of you say it is the same (JL/JLU) but in Justice League, his costumes lighter, and in JLU it is darker. I like JL, because the lighter Grey looks better.

Did Batman's design change slightly at some point during Justice League? I know that Wonder Woman and Supes both got their cheek bones redesigned but it seemed to me like Bats went from purple highlighted cape to blue. Am I right in this?

Yeah I thought that too. If Batman is in an area where there's light, he is purpulish, but if its dark, its blue.

No 60s, no 70s, no 80s? Boo. Some of those Superfriends designs were great, although I forget the exact SF series. The 60s art was really nice too.

Yes Light is morning, and Dark is night. But, Batman could be in a light area and it doesn't have to be morning.

The designs for Batman/Bruce Wayne over the years to me are all good.
It was really hard to choose. This tread is fun like that. For voting in the poll I choose the Old Bruce Wayne. Thats mainly because of that line in the episode "The Once & the Future Thing", "I never thought I would live this long". The idea of Batman as a old man is cool to me.
The Justice League Batman like the Justice League Joker seems like the product of years of tweaking & evolution.
As far as Batman in costume in modern times, JL Batman would be my choice. The Batman TAS is so classic, it would be second.
The only negative thing I would say about the design evolution is Bruce Wayne's eye color. The TAS Bruce has brown eyes. The 97" show has his eyes changing to Blue. If it was not for the Great Kevin Conroy vocal, I would have not known it was the same show right away.
Thank god they changed his eye color back to a darker shade for JL.
They also changed Old Bruce Wayne back to brown/black in JLU.
For some reason the blue eyes always bothered me.
Can't wait to see what design they come up with in the Apocalypse of 09".

I'm actually gonna have to vote for The Batman on this one. Much as I like the JL/JLU look, I have to give it to The Batman for the retro-'60s chest emblem and the (relatively) realistic chin.

TNBA is my favorite. I don't really like THE BATMAN design too much.

TNBA is my favorite--it's the most iconic and threatening. The TNBA version looks like he could beat up all the other Batmen. And I like black and gray better than blue and gray (after all, bats aren't blue--on the other hand, they're mostly brown...). I also prefer it because it's the most artfully stylized. "The Batman" version strikes me as least stylized, and more boring as a result.

Bruce Timm did say in a interview "Worlds Collide" might get made.
Dwyane McDuffie wrote a script for it.
As far as the Apocalypse of 09", thats a pipe dream lots of people have, so your not alone. But it should get made. They could even get away with using the current designs as far as I'm concerned.
The final Batman JL design would be great, but with newer technology.
Some of the Batman Beyond gadgets would be cool.
Also for his tread, lets not forget alternate timeline "Resistance Batman"
as seen in the Savage Time.
By the way if anyone from WB Animation is reading this, I will gladly pay way in advanced for the Apocalypse of 09" to get made.
Lets just call it the ultimate pre-order.
