Cowboy Funk is just the funniest episode in the series. I saw it first last April, and it was the only episode I rewatched outside of TV (I borrowed the DVDs, and later specifically borrowed volume 5 for that episode). That episode is without question the best in the series, unless you like the dramatic part of the series more, then you'd like RFB more, I guess.

Cowboy Funk is the funniest overall episode, but Mushroom Samba has the best line:

"Hard Luck Woman," definately. I'll always remember those final scenes with Ed and Faye. Excellent episode.

Well, I like basically anything with Viscous, but my favorite episode would have to be Ballad of Fallen Angels. Green Bird added so much to the scene where Spike is falling out of the church.

Comedy-wise Toys in the Attic was hilarious. After Spike hit with a flamethrower many times, it came back and killed 'em all. And of course the fact that Ed ate it and that it was really bad food from and old refrigirator just added to the comedy.

Also, how can you not love the Pierrot Le Fou episode. I wish I could laugh that crazy. :(

Hard Luck Woman. Ed's my fave character, she's the only one on Bebop who's not a hardened fighter who's lost half their humanity. This makes her final bow from the series all the more poignant. S'very bittersweet.

Hmm... "Hard Luck Woman" is probably my favorite (I just downloaded the MP3 of "Call Me, Call Me" the song playing during the final scene)... RFB2 ranks up there, too... And I laughed like crazy during Cowboy Funk...

..but, on the whole, Hard Luck Woman is my fave

I like them all because I feel you need to watch every episode and understand its importance. Example Gasaraki, hated this series cause I did not understand anything about it but I kept watching it and it made total sense after awhile.

It's hard to choose a favorite episode because they are all so good!

But, when I need something to make me laugh, Mushroom Samba does the trick because I love Ed!

I also like Hard Luck Woman for its content and music. I don't want to give too much away by saying my favorite part of either episode. ;)

Sigh... The only episodes of Bebop I've missed have been the part twos to Jupiter Jazz and TRFB. Very frustrating.

OMG - I was watching "Hard Luck Woman" the other night and i started to cry at the end. Geez, I didn't even cry when I saw it the first time either! :eek: All in all, a very good episode!

I guess it'd have to be Jammin' With Edward. I don't remember if that's the right name, but I know the episode ends with Ed's face on the planet. It also involved the whole AI Laser System or something...

Another favorite would have to involve that assasin.

Oh! I can't forget that episode with that Madman! Ya know! The hovering one with a whole ton of artillery and ammo! Sad he was a screwed up clone, a boy in a man's body...pity. But I found it funny how he died...and of course sad. I just found it funny because of those funky carnival robots!

my favorite epesode HAS to be Ballad of Fallen Angels...its the first epsode i saw and the animation was soooo beautiful i had to watch the whole series...you almost feel like your part of the action when spike is in the church...i swore i could have smelled gunpowder....

I haven't seen many episodes, only sessions 16-24. My favorite so far would either be Hard Luck Woman or Mushroom Samba. From the episode guides I've read, Toys in the Attic sounds cool too. I trying to buy Cowboy Bebop: The Perfect Sessions because I already love this show so much.

I almost don't even want to watch The Real Folk Blues...I've read it's really sad. :(

I loved session 24 cause they played my song,Call Me,Call Me! Speaking of Call Me,Call Me I'm listening to it now! [I close my eyes,and I keep seeing things,rainbow waterfalls,sunny liquid dreams...] Session two is tight,too,so is TRFB.

Well, I have to say that Jupiter Jazz parts 1 & 2 are my favorite episodes. (It's hard to choose one, so I chose two!) In a close second is Mushroom Samba, then Real Folk Blues, followed by Pierrot Le Fou. PLF is my vote for the creepiest episode of the series. <Hello, boy!>
