Remember before ZERO HOUR, that Joe Chill was sent by Lew Moxon to kill Bruce's parents. In the latest issue of BATMAN in the flashback we see Moxon arguing with Bruce's parents. Could we finally find out who killed his parents, since ZERO HOUR erased the fact that Chill did?

I dont think they are going to say who killed Bruce's parents for a long time if ever. The creators felt it added to the character to add a little mystery to his background and not make it clear who commited the murder. Personally I feel if Batman is the Worlds Greatest Detective this is a case I feel he would have been driven to solve.

Hey guys! I have a set of three comics that came with cassettes. The series was called "The Untold Legend of the Batman" and it explained everything from Joe Chill murdering Bruce's parents to Alred fighting in the war to Batgirl. I follow B:TAS continuity so I was anaware that Zero Hour erased Joe Chill as being the Wayne's murderer. How was this done/explained? Does this mean that in DC continuity, Batman still doesn't know who killed his parents?
Speaking of animated continuity, based on what you've seen in the B:TAS shows and comics, do you think that Dini will ever write a story that explains who kill Bruce's parents? Would you like to see that be the storyline of the last issue of B: GA? AND WHY ISN'T ANYBODY POSTING ANY B:GA NEWS???

I think in the animated continuity, Bruce doesn't know who his killer is. In mainstream continuity, he thought it was Chill, but was wrong. In animated, I just don't think he knows period. And as for why there hasn't been any B:GA news recently...BECUASE THERE ISN'T ANY. Besides, the newspage is where you'll find news more frequently than here.

Well, yes, Knight, Batman would be driven to solve his parents' deaths. His whole life his based upon an obsession with his parents' death and what he feels is a way of coping with it. However, I also can understand how even the World's Greatest Detective could have problems finding out who killed his parents. I mean, I don't know the story of the parents' death in this continuity, but I'm assuming it's the same story, Bruce and parents walking home, mugger (or at least one guy with a gun) pops out and shoots the parents. Then, at least 20 years later, the boy becomes Batman. Over those years, whatever few clues he could've found would've gone cold. If one man did the killing, would he have recognized the Waynes? Possibly, they are a high profile family. Would he have told others about this, would he have skipped town without telling anyone? Who knows, and even if he told anyone, there is no way of telling who they would have been, where they would be, or even if they were still alive. I think it's safe to assume Batman's done a lot of searching for the killer, it's probably what he first did when he became Batman. But there isn't a whole lot of clues for him to use.

Did "Batman: the ultimate evil", which is the story line where Batman discovers that his parents death resulted from an assasination attempt on his mother, get erased by zero hour?
