Nope, but I've always wanted to. It definitely looks like my cup of tea - I love "monster battling" kids shows. It'll probably be the next series I rent online once I finish off Fafner.

I saw the first episode of this series a couple of weeks ago. It seemed very interesting. I usaully like the kind of monster battle type of series. Even from the first episode, it had a Digimon meets dragons kind of feeling to it. I'm definately interested in getting the series boxsets at some point.

I finished the entire series a few weeks ago. It's easily one of my favorite anime series of all-time. It's extremely underrated and it should definately be on TV. The last five episodes or so are just completely out of this world.

I'm definately plaining on getting the series at somepoint. It seems like a very good series and worth buying it. Unfortuately, I doubt that CN would air it, mainly because most of the anime that it airs is more currnet. Too bad. It definately could do well, if given the chance.
I could watch those clips on google, but I prefer watching series on TV and/or DVD than online. It does bring better picture quality and I can watch the episodes whenever I want to, on DVD at least.

it came out in like 2004 or 05 whats more curret then that
I actually glanced over the manga at one point, but found it to be rather dry. How does the show compare to it? Does the series improve as it goes in (which I'd imagine it would)? Has the entire series been released on DVD?

My guess is that a series that is still running in Japan or has just recently ended. Recently being a year ago or so. Besides, I was just making a guess. Even though I think that it would be great for CN to play this series, I doubt that will happen in the near future. For their Toonami lineup, they're mostly focused on SJ series, like Naruto, and other series that are already mainstream popular, like Pokemon, for their regualr cartoon block that gives them a good set of profits already. It would be great to see it on TV, but I don't know if or when that will happen.

I haven't read any of the manga yet. I don't really read too many manga series, but I'll probably change that later. Anyway, I've only seen the first episode subbed so I obviously can't tell if it has improved. However, I do know that the whole series has been released on DVD. I think that it was actually a direct to DVD series. but I can't say that for sure. In fact, the whole series is in two volumes sets. There is this one website where you could get both for little over forty or fifty dollars. Here's the link in case anyone is interested: www.deepdiscountDVD.com (http://www.deepdiscountDVD.com)
