About friggin' time.
I'm guessing Deleted Scenes wont be on Volume 5 since it was already included with the release of the Movie.

"Dickesode" will be uncensored? Now that's a scary thought.

Wow, these were some extremely hit or miss episodes. Handbanana, Dirtfoot, Antenna, and Global Grilling were my favorites, but Carl Wash, Bart Oates, and Dickesode were my least favorite episodes of the entire series.

Bart Oates was awesome. I loved all the quasi-motivational stuff, how Carl couldn't bring himself to apologize for anything bad he ever did, and the beginning with Shake and Meatwad calling Frylock from jail was great.
Handbanana, Party All the Time, and Global Grilling were three other favorites, too.

Like Goglo said there are some good ones on here but some of my least favorites on the set (like "Party All The Time" and "Global Grilling"). I'll still be getting it though like some of you I only count 12. Does that mean the other three are something only ATHF related or are they the new episodes that won't have even been on AS or will have only been on it for like a month or so (since the AS upfront said soemthing like new aqua teens might happen this late fall/early winter).

Hm. Good set, and probably a good investment at the end of it all.
I wonder if this box art will be Mooninite-less, since the last four volumes had a fair degree of Mooninite in them.

Unlike everybody else, I liked every episode this season. My favorites were "Bart Oates," "Handbanana," "Ezekial," and "Carl Wash."

Oh gosh no... uncensored Dickesode. Why would ANYONE watch that?

Seriously. I'm kinda freaked out about that. I hope there's a censored version included aswell.

While this season included some of my least favorite episodes, I'd have to say that Handbanana, Dickesode, Antenna, Ezekiel, and Carl Wash are seriously my five favorites for pure comedy of the entire series. Others feel the show already peaked at some point, I feel this season was some sort of awakening.

Wow...and all that time I thought there really wasn't any actual ***** in Dickesode and that those censor bars were actually part of the episode...oh well, this should be funny. He he he.

Looking at that list again, I think its possible that [as] will include the censored version of Dickesode, and might even be counting both towards the 15-episode count.
The last two eps might be Deleted Scenes in its two-parter form (similar to how the Family Guy boxsets included the split-up TV broadcasts of Stewie Griffin's Untold Story when those came up in sequence)

Grim Reaper Gutters is probably the worst episode of the entire show.

Just as long as they don't do that stupid "play all" sh-t that they did on the last set.
*Looks at thread title*
GROAN!!!:rolleyes2:
Grim Reaper Gutters is probably the worst episode of the entire show.
How quickly you forget the germ episode. That was quite possibly the worst episode of any first-gen WS original other than ASHDTV.

I saw that one for the first time on the fourth volume DVD and once they cut to the germ play I don't think I laughed once. As subpar as "Grim Reaper Gutters" is, I'd easily opt for it over "Hypno-Germ" any day.

It wasn't THAT bad. And I actually love "ASHDTV." The picking on that episode is kind of getting old. If you want a target, take it out on "Green Fever" or "Isle De Las Chupacabras." Both of those episodes are easily worse. And I don't think I even need to mention Sharko...
Season 4 of Sealab is possibly the most uneven season of anything in Adult Swim history. I've never seen a season of anything fluctuate so rapidly between the good ("Shrabster," "Cavemen," "Joy Of Grief") and the just plain unwatchably awful (The aforementioned episodes). Not even Hesh appearing more frequently could save those.

I love this season of ATHF. It signifies a real change in the tone of the show (for the better, I think)... The only episode I thought was 'meh' was Dickesode.
Handbanana, Bart Oates, Global Grilling, Ezekial, Antenna, and Dirtfoot are some of the best episodes of the show.
By the way, it's 12 episodes NOT including the uncensored version of Dickesode, and the two parter of Deleted Scenes. That would bring it to 15.

Slightly OT, but I think Green Fever had the best "Old Sealab" style dialog in the pipe storage bit even if the rest of the episode was horrible. Although yes, Sharko...unfunniest WS character ever not created by Tim and Eric.

You never explained WHY you liked ASHDTV and I still want to find out why.
But, yeah, Isla De Chupacabras was MUCH MUCH worse in comparison.

I just find the episode funny. The only thing I disliked about it was that it was really degrading to Marco's character.

Well, according to Aqua Teen Central:
For those wondering, there are only 13 eps technically (12 not including the Deleted Scenes which is already on the ColonMovie DVD). It's possible that either they're including Dickesode: Uncensored and both halves of the Deleted Scenes as 3 more episodes or it's a typo. Stay tunedSo I'm not really sure. Doesn't really matter either way.

Next time...just make a new thread.
I was about to say that it was really about time that they got this out, but then they moved the date to January, and that seems a bit long to wait (but Lord knows I'll still buy it).
Loved all of these episodes, just because it was a little different then what we've seen before. Party All The Time is definitely my favorite.
Not feeling the DVD art, though.

Bump. Just thought I'd let everyone know, if you don't already, that vol. 5 contains the Space Ghost episode "Chambraigne", obviously due to "Carl Wash" being one of the ATHF episodes on it. Great to get more SG episodes on DVD, even if they're not on a SG set.
Also, a "I Love Your Booty But I'm Not Gay" music video is included. Was that on the ATHF Colon The Movie DVD?

The 30 minute ATHF Colon The Movie premiere special was awesome. George Lowe in Space Ghost outfit, standing outside the theater and interviewing people involved in the movie in his unique style... priceless. I especially loved it when the camera panned down to his feet- he's wearing the Space Ghost outfit... with tennis shoes. It just looks so silly and mismatched. :p

I don't get why there's still no uncensored audio option. I mean, they can now show huge piles of severed penises, but can't say s*it? Seems a little inconsistent to me.

For those who dont know the Al in Chambraigne was actually Al Roker but has been replaced by George "Al" Lowe

Is there a difference between the episodes that aired on tv and the DVD? I noticed the cut the line: "or to be Dirtfoot you have to be gay" out... there was a long pause and then he said "and so is that milkshake" hmm. I know one thing: I don't think I'll EVER watch ****esode uncensored, I mean really, out of all the things that could have been uncensored why'd it have to be this?
I was pleasently surprised to see Tera Patrik eating a corndog on the cover when I pulled it out of the sleeve. ^_^
