Cartoon Network Prime Time Originals #1 in Kids Delivery/Ratings
All Original Series Earn Double-Digit Delivery/Ratings Increases vs. Last Year
Powered by its original programming, Cartoon Network ranked #1 in prime time delivery and ratings of both kids 6-11 (774,000/4.1) and kids 2-11 (1,374,000/4.5) for the week of Feb. 4-10 among ad-supported cable networks.
The weeknight performance of Cartoon Network Originals (7-10 p.m., Monday-Thursday) generated substantial double-digit delivery and ratings increases across all of the network's target demographics:
Kids 6-11 - Prime Time Delivery (878,000) up 79%, Ratings (4.7) up 57%
Kids 2-11 - Prime Time Delivery (1,505,000) up 53%, Ratings (4.9) up 32%
Tweens 9-14 - Prime Time Delivery (500,000) up 64%, Ratings (2.7) up 50%
Top performers last week include Cartoon Network's Johnny Bravo (Tuesday, 9:30 p.m.), which drew 1,090,000 kids 6-11, followed closely by the preceding Courage the Cowardly Dog (Tuesday, 9 p.m.), which delivered 1,087,000 kids 6-11. Both programs earned a 5.8 kids 6-11 rating.
The network now has spent five of the first six weeks in 2002 as #1 in prime time delivery and ratings of kids 2-11 and kids 6-11. This extends Cartoon Network's #1 ranking in prime delivery and ratings of kids 2-11 to 87 of the last 89 weeks.
