I'm glad to see Ian McKellen up for an award, especially since he to ripely deserves it. He did an amazing job as Gandalf and I look forward to him walking up to the Podium and taking that statuette home with him.

13, wow. What's the record for nominations? I can see it winning up to 9. All in the music, costume, fx and cinemtatics categories. I don't have enough faith in the voters to give Best Picture, Directing, Actor, Writing to it though.
