Though, Goro and Mihashi didn't have to challenge their former school in the beginning. As Goro first started out at Kaido and Mihashi also first started out at Mihoshi.

So that they can prove that they're not "yowai!" (weak)

There were a few Miles Edgeworth clones, in this one episode of Blood +. I can't recall the number of the ep, but one of the guys had a French accent.

Well, Kurogane (Tsusbasa Chronicles) and Zoro (One Piece) kinda look alike in some ways. And their personalities are equally rash at times... (Except Kuro-tan's got a little more of a soft since he's stuck from CLAMP. Not to say that Zoro is completely evil xD

Oh, and Momoshiro (Prince of Tennis) strikes a similar resemblence to Yusuke (Yu Yu Hakusho) imo.

And lastly...When I first started to read the Fruits Basket manga, I would get Kagura and Tohru mixed up a lot. Thank goodness their personalites are like polar opposites. >_>

The main characters in 'The Place promised in our early days' and the characters in '5 centimeters per second, a chain or short stories about their distance.' are really similar. I get that feeling allot from Makoto Shinkai's work.

Visually, Brock from Pokemon and Kōzō Fuyutsuki from NEG remind me of each other. I don't know why, since one is an old advisor and the other a animal trainer with eyes on every girl he sees, but I always wonder if Fuyutsuki was an older Brock.

Another visual similarity: Fllay Allster and Meyrin Hawke from CE-verse Gundam. Same face, same hair color, same long hair, about the same age when they appear in the series. The only major difference is their personaility. That, and Meyrin seems slightly chubbier.

Why? Well, consider the fact that they need someone to "jump start" them. Because they're really slow learners.

Which Hiruma gets Sena in dangerous situations which if when he doesn't move right away. Hiruma tends to shoot him with his machine gun.

Though, as compared to Sena. Sho Kazamatsuri learns fast. And Sena is more like reluctant.
