Did anybody mention the composer of 'George Of The Jungle' died...??
If not then read on...
Sheldon Allman left this mortal existence on Jan. 22, 2002 at the premature age of 77. Besides human survivors he leaves us with the immortal chorus "George, George, George Of the Jungle friend to you and me....Watch out for that tree!!!" which will be sung to the end of human existence. And also the words to the theme song of "Super Chicken" ("He will drink his Super-Sauce and throw those bad guys for a loss, brk, brk, brk, brk, brk"). . Mr. Allman is also reported to have kept company with a lantern jawed blond-haired member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police in his younger days. Jay Ward cartoon cels were burned in his memory, casting a poisonous cloud over much of Los Angeles. ;)
But his death is a true loss...!!!
