.... the Manhunters were wiped out, Orm dropped to his death, and Faust was killed, do you think Mongul will die? Can he even be killed?

Batman80,
I was wondering about Faust. Was he decapitated or did I just think I saw that? (I don't have it taped to recheck.) If he wasn't decapitated, then isn't it possible that Faust *could* come back at a later date? :)

There is nothing at all preventing Faust, a magical character, from returning. In the same respect, the Manhunters can be rebuilt and we never saw Orm's body. He could very easily resurface (no pun intended) as the Ocean Master, who just fell into a very deep hole that had water at the bottom, couldn't he?
The number one rules of comics and related cartoons is that nobody is officially dead unless you have a body. Even then, it's up for debate. ;)

I doubt it very seriously if Faust is dead. He's a major Wonder Woman villian and will most likely return in some form. And next time she sees him, it will not be pretty.

I think a major part of WAR WORLD will revolve around Superman REFUSING to kill Mongul.

--Faust rotted to dust and his remains were sucked into Hell. Presumably they could be resurrected by Hades. I'm also wondering about his tryst with Hippolyta--presuming Diana was "born" of clay and isn't the Lord of the Underworld's daughter...suppose there was a child fathered, and Wonder Woman learns she has a nasty half-sibling out there someplace?
The original Faust, in Marlowe, died for the sake of knowledge, rejecting God all his life, but folks still debate whether he went to Hell or accepted God at the last minute before Mephistophiles came for him and recieved an instant conversion....

Dr. Belch,
Intriguing. Very intriguing. I wish you could influence the writing in this direction.... ;)
