After the last run of Bebeop, what do you think will happen to the series? I know Watanabe said he doesn't want to do another series because the whole point of Bebop is that things always come to and end. But if anyone knows any info on other series by the same company, please speak.

Other series by the same company? Well here are a few that CN has aired, or will be airing:
Mobile Suit Gundam Wing (series)
Outlaw Star
Blue Submarine #6
Mobile Suit Gundam
Gundam 08th MS Team
Gundam 0080
Pilot Candidate
The Big O
Gundam 0083
Mobile Suit Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz

The only one I can think of thats done by the same people is the Vision of Escaflowne, which is just as good (better IMO :p) than CB. I think you might be able to add Macross Plus to that list too, although I'm not entirely sure.
The previously listed list of shows are all done by Sunrise as well, but weren't made by the same people.

I know Sunrise did those shows, I meant by Watanabe, the creator of CB.

Watanabe directed Macross Plus.

Yea that's true. Macross is licensed by ADV Films.

Ok thanks. Also, are there any other animes like Bebop?

Watanabe hasn't directed many TV series. And Macross Plus is licensed by Manga Video, not ADV. The original Macross is licensed by Animeigo, while Robotech is licensed by ADV. Got that?
Anyway, the real "source" for Cowboy Bebop is Lupin III. It's not directed by Watanabe (it's old, real old), but the cast are almost dead-on prototypes of the cast of Cowboy Bebop.
Oh yeah, Lupin III isn't set in space. It's a present-day setting.
I suggest getting your hands on "Castle of Cagliostro," a 1979 Lupin feature film. It's directed by Hayao Miyazaki--a rising animator who would later move on to become ONLY the most popular anime director in Japan...

Thanks for the suggestions Larry. Do you think we will ever get a follow up on Bebop or do you think it is the end, just as Watanabe hinted.

As much as I love Cowboy Bebop, I hope that there isn't a sequel. Usually sequels (for anything) aren't as good as the originals, and I think it would be a long, hard series without Spike. Sure, any stupid plot twist could bring him back, but then... I dunno. It just wouldn't be as good as the original.

When Julia died, so did Spike.
Let it go. The series is 100x better ending there.

The series and the movie. Thats it. He's said there won't be anymore. I for one am very glad. I'm glad to see that unlike in this country, people have the dignity to end things before they come stale. Cowboy Bebop is perfect as it is. Nothing else is needed. Just hope Watanabe & Co. team up for another anime yet again. Considering they've made my 2 favorite animes, I anxiously await anything new from 'em. :D
The only way I could think of a CB sequel would be a Faye/Jet one-shot OVA. Just something to show what they're into afterwards, a "one last job" deal that can set them up and let them put the past behind.
Otherwise, I say leave it. The ending is final. :)

Yah I gues your right : A sequel would ruin the whole idea and is just best left dead. I just wish the series had more episodes since it was probably one of the best animes I've seen in a while.

Also I wish they had given us an idea of what happened to the other characters as well.

The other characters lived, that's what happened.
IMO, Faye's "story" ended at episode 24, and Jet's ended way before...
Anyway, it doesn't seem like the type of show that's sentimental enough to show what "happened" to them later on. Imagine if Faye went off and became a supermarket cashier, and Jet became an intergalactic hotel manager...
Really cheesy if they showed that to us, if you ask me...
(Though I would have been amused, personally)

Yes but you don't get an idea about how the characters felt or even knew about Spike dying.

No, they knew he was going to die. Watch the end again...they knew that was the last time they'll ever see him...

Ok. Sorry, haven't seen ending in a long time, so I'll catch it next time around. BTW, any word on airing Cowboy Funk?
