A couple classic cartoon DVDs coming 2/12

Tomorrow Disney is releasing two more DVDs that sound like they will be worth picking up. The collector's edition of Peter Pan and there's also Disney's American Legends. The Legends DVD will contain the shorts: "Johnny Appleseed", "Paul Bunyon", "The Brave Engineer", and the recent "John Henry". It will also contain a bonus Donald Duck cartoon: "Donald Applecore" (not sure how that fits the theme of "American Legends"...).

Perhaps it's to tie in with "Johnny Appleseed," "apple pie," and American-type stuff like that.

That's excellent news! Particularly the American Legends DVD, as they used to run those on The Disney Channel during Vault Disney until the schedule changes eliminated the movies and the occasional need to insert a short to fill a 15-20 minute timeframe. Paul Bunyan is particularly good-it was nominated for an Oscar (it lost, if I recall correctly, to Knighty Knight Bugs) and I have it on tape.

Does anyone know if this American Legends DVD will have the uncut version of "Johnny Appleseed"?
