This weekend my computer crashed and I lost EVERYTHING!! :(

I'm posting this on a computer at school. My website updates will probably be delayed even longer...:(

Well, I might have the internet hooked back up tonight...

Me too, my computer crashed as well once.:( Luckily, my brother is a computer engineer and fixed it by re-installing Windows. I did, however still lose all of my files. But, I downloaded all of my pages with their most recent updates, so I didn't lose everything totally. Plus I had everything backed-up on blank disks.

My computer crashed back in 2000. I had to get a new hard drive. It's pretty much forgotten now. I'm still afraid of it happening again, especially since I downloaded cartoons in 2001.

I've been lucky that this machine hasn't crashed [yet...], but we (dad + i) have had periods (the last was just within the past few days) when major software (the operating system, browser, Juno, media players) decides to go South.

BTW, I noticed that the cursor in the entry screens blinks at a really-fast rate. Can anybody familiar with Java relate how (if at all) I can do anything about that?

Oh, I hear you, Thad. I had that happen back in September, and it took forever to fix it. I didn't lose completely everything, but I did have to delte a number of files that could have been virus-tainted. I'm still not sure whether it was a virus or internal glitch, I may never know.

Well, I had 95% of my files uploaded already, but I'm still planning on debuting the Harveytoons site on June 1, 2002.

Well, I got the internet back, and I had most of my Looney Tunes files on a CD. But now I have to download a new photo editing program to make my avatars! :eek:
