Steve E Gordon Ben 10 Concept Art

Before today`s iconic white shirt and green pants, there was another look. But man, I can`t seem to find it anywhere online now. Steve E. Gordon drew up some sweet designs that were more Justice League than Digimon.


This orginal Ben 10 concept called for a more Superheroic theme, no monsters.
I remember a Chinese hero, a superman hero and of couse eight more. It was in all the early press sites for the show but they wound up going another route. Does anyone still have those pictures?

While I like the people characters and the general current animation style, an X-Evo presentation wouldn't have been a disappointment. I like the more "peoplefied" aliens, but am glad they stayed far away from capes. If only they had done the same for Mexican wrestler masks :sad:

He does a great job with texture and shadowing.

Oo, he's got alot of X-Evo drawings, I'm gonna have to mark that site.

That would've been so awesome.

Too bad that we won't see anything Dial H for Hero-related anytime soon. It's been out of the public eye for so long, people will think it's a rip-off of Ben 10 if it made a comeback.

It's allways interesting to see what the original concept-art looked like. So before the aliens it was going to originally be a superhero theme like Dial H.
