Tales of the World is out and it's literaly right up there with Tales of the Abyss as far as quality goes. It's certainly one of the high marks in te series for certain.
Essentialys it's similar to the premesis of Kingdom hearts where characetrs of different worlds band together to destroy omnipotent evil world destroying thingingy. But it's the assorted Tales characters from Phantasia to Legendia who act as your loyal cohorts in operations. They also include Tales characetrs from games that havn't reaches US shores so you may not recognize everyone right off the bat. However the Main character is essentialy created by you, you choose, sex, skin tone, hairstyle, hair color, and voice tone from the getgo and later you can further change their appearce with altering their job class and what items they have equipped.
The combat system remains true to previous tales entires and works very well on a portable system, no control commands are lost and it's pretty much has the same layout as the previous entries. The Graphcis are also very similar to the console versions and look pretty spot on for everyone. They even have the same voices and all in Tales of the World.
Overall it's really one of the best portable RPGs out there and it really does rival the console counterparts in overall quality even though it's loose on the series canon(i.e. characters that are supposed to be dead are apparently alive).
