NOOOOOO! Why must their be an age limit?

I found out a few days ago, that Petula Clark will be performing in concert near where I live. I just found out today that I have to be 21 years old or older to attend the concert!!! I'm only 20! AAAAUUGGGHHRRRAAHHH!!!!

Why couldn't I have been born in 1986? Sheesh!
Or better yet, why have it be a stinkin' age limit! Yes, the concert is in a casino, but THIS IS A FLIPPIN' CONCERT! I don't plan to go their to gamble, I want to go there to see Petula Clark! AAAAHHHHH!!!

There's an age limit in place to protect you from the raunchy and envelope-pushing stage antics of Ms. Clark of course (but that still doesn't explain how I got into a Marilyn Manson show at 14, huh). Judging from the age of the artist and the likely age of her fanbase, I imagine that the limit was meant to keep all those young hooligans from starting a mosh pit at her show or something (only reason I could come up with).

An excellent question. In fact, it's only second to the question of why people continue to ask that question when it's obviously not hindering the cafe bloggers in the slightest. Wouldn't it be easier to sit back and let the offending threads be banished to page 2 and beyond within 24 hours? It is the toon zone circle of life after all.....
