American Dragon: Jake Long on Disney Channel
Sat Sep 1 -- 8:30 -- 231 -- Hong Kong Longs (series finale)
The Emperor's New School on Disney Channel
Sun Sep 2 -- 12:30 -- 206 -- Kuz-Cop / How Now Sea Cow?
Kim Possible on Disney Channel
Sat Sep 1 -- 8:00 -- 420 -- Larry's Birthday
Fri Sep 7 -- 8:00 -- 421/422 -- Graduation (series finale)
(This is part of a three-day, 54-hour marathon in which every KP episode and both movies will be shown.
It goes from noon to 6 a.m. on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday of that week)
Power Rangers Operation Overdrive on Jetix/TD
Mon Sep 10 -- 8:00 -- 1725 -- Things Not Said
Mega Jam (Friday wild-card stacks) on Toon Disney
Fri Sep 7 -- 2:00 -- House of Mouse
Fri Sep 14 -- 2:00 -- Goof Troop
Fri Sep 21 -- 2:00 -- Lilo & Stitch
Fri Sep 28 -- 2:00 -- Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers
Remember how I said the September schedules didn't foretell of any impending changes or additions to either the DC or TD/Jetix lineup? Well, guess again! Just look at this that's coming (along with another set that I can't post yet) it gives higher probability of a new lineup in October, perhaps as early as Monday Oct 1. These shows aren't new to TV by any stretch, but they're big gets for the channel.
Superman: The Animated Series on Jetix/TD
Fri Sep 28 -- 7:00 -- 101 -- The Last Son of Krypton, I
Fri Sep 28 -- 7:30 -- 102 -- The Last Son of Krypton, II
Fri Sep 28 -- 8:00 -- 103 -- The Last Son of Krypton, III
Batman: The Animated Series on Jetix/TD
Sun Sep 30 -- 7:00 -- 104 -- The Last Laugh
Sun Sep 30 -- 7:30 -- 109 -- Be a Clown
Sun Sep 30 -- 8:00 -- 122 -- Joker's Favor

And so the last two good Disney Channel original shows end... :crying:
(I'm not counting Shaun the Sheep, since it's an import.)
But, man, Tucson is gonna sploodge when he hears about a Full Cycle of Kim Possible (jeez, what's with all-day marathons these days? This is, like, the fifth one I've seen so far, and the first one from Disney).

BELIEVE IT!
and believe me, this will be good. Because for the Jake Long and Kim Possible fans... this won't be a question anymore.. but then the real question will be for the fans themselves.. That's what makes a show memorable. So believe me, they're not going out with a whimper, but rather.. the proverbial big bang.
Let's just hope it's not TOO Loud...;)

I made up that list above on my own going off of the information Burgundy gave me over on my TV.com forum. I'm sure that there are numerous mistakes in it. When I created that thing, I came up an hour and a half short on Thursday night. My guess is that they are going to show So the Drama twice on Thursday evening. Anyways, here is the extra information supplied by Burgundy:
Eps #421 and 422 -- Graduation -- premiere Friday, Sept. 7 at 8 p.m., as part of a 54-HOUR (over three days) Kim Possible UBER-THON in which every episode and both movies will be shown.
Each day's marathon runs from 12 noon to 6 a.m. -- in the middle of the week when school's in session! http://img.gamespot.com/gamespot/shared/emoticons/rolleyes.gif
On Wed Sep 5, it's the first 16 episodes, then the Sitch In Time movie, then the final five episodes from Season 1 and the first 12 from Season 2
On Thu Sep 6, it's episodes 13-31 of Season 2 (skipping the three that were created by chopping up the Sitch movie), then the So The Drama movie, then all of Season 3 and the first four episodes of Season 4
On Fri Sep 7, it's episodes 5-20 of Season 4, then Graduation, then counting back down on Season 4, going from 20 and ending at 3.

And by the end of the month, Disney loses their only worthwhile animated series. If only American Dragon could of had the marathon KP had.
STILL no Digimon Data Squad? What on Earth is taking them so long?

Yeah, they're going in production number order. And, I believe each movie was chopped up into three episodes, and they're being skipped. But in order to show something "special" at 8:00 each night (movie 1, movie 2, then finale), the movies don't fit in relation to the episodes. The way I understand it, Sitch In Time is part of Season 2 but its spot in the uber-thon is among the Season 1 episodes.
My upkeep of a Disney Channel schedule here has, so far, been contained to premiere showings of the animated shows. But, I'll post the full schedules for the three days of this. (Gimme time, it's a doozy!)
But I'm still recovering from the more startling absence of any major schedule revisions. Isn't September the start of a new season when EVERYONE launches new shows and new lineups?

Actually Disney loses two great series. Both KP and Jake Long were good shows.. No no, I take that back, they were great shows, and they really show what animation could have been. But with them gone and Phineas and Ferb coming in October and the Wizards of Waverly Place joining them. Don't be too surprised is Disney next axes either The Replacements or The Emperor's new school. It really shows that Disney channel is getting away from their animated roots, and are going with Live action shows. But then we'll see what Disney has in store for 2008. Hopefully Phineas and Ferb won't flop, because if it does, then Disney has really no animated series back ups...
But we'll see.

That's a real good question there PC2, I mean have they finished off Digimon Frontier or not? Also if they are dragging it out, they might be waiting for Early 2008 to release Data Squad onto Jetix.. Maybe they're doing it to space things out.
But then the real cash cow is Power Rangers, rather than Digimon.

DC has planned a Hannah Montana marathon (and a huge one at that) tomorrow at 12 noon ET (8/04/07) (The marathon will end at 8pm for the DC Games and DC's prime-time shows) and a new episode should air at 8:30pm ET enitled Song Sung Bad. (Thats what the 'Guide said...)
Overall, This saturday is a good day for DC PR (and the HM fans)...
And no Data Squad yet... looks like the 'Rangers ARE TD's Ca$h Cow for now... (I Agree with tuscon about this)
And True, Digmon "Season 4" (Frontier) ended 4 Years Ago...
Any word on New Yin-Yang-Yo! episodes?

Well, Digimon World Data Squad (the PS2 game) is coming out next month, and it needs a series to be based on...you'd figure they'd want them to come out around the same time.
I hear they're airing a Digimon movie marathon on the 24th. Perhaps something to pump people up for Data Squad...?

It's lame that both JL and KP are ending a week apart, yet JL doesn't even get the crazy kind of recognition for it (seriously, even just a little 2-hour block of shows would be good; but just a single, finale premiere versus a multiple-day marathon? What the heck?).
Still, sad to see both of these shows go. As these shows leave the Channel, so do I as I'll stop watching it.

It's truly the end of an era. The final worthwhile Disney cartoons are ending, and the channel shall be swallowed up by its own drek. It was pretty much inevitable, and the KP marathon was a great idea, but the feeling still sucks overall.
As Kim Possible and Jake Long end, so does the little respect I had for Disney Channel. Enjoy your grave, Disney Channel; you dug it, you lay in it.

This is really pitiful.KP had it's run but Amdrag still had the juice for at least a third season.Anyway, the creator has said that their going to wait to see if the ratings hold out or something. If Disney wants to become a mega kingdom of CGI and Live Action, the more power to them.I'm switching fully to Avatar.:D

And, right now, the September schedules for both channels show no indication of any major schedule changes or any new shows joining either lineup.WRONG! :ack: I didn't look all that closely the first time, or else I would have seen that the summer-long strategy of ending Playhouse Disney early and putting the live-action shows on at 10 a.m. comes to an end.
They go back to a more normal schedule, with PD running all the way to noon and then noon-4:00 again being populated by the animated shows. Here's what that lineup will be effective Tuesday, Sept. 4:
Noon - Lilo & Stitch
12:30 - Little Mermaid
1:00 - Timon & Pumbaa
1:30 - Buzz Lightyear
2:00 - AmDrag: Jake Long
2:30 - Kim Possible
3:00 - Emperor's New School
3:30 - Replacements
I think there are some tweaks to the rotation of the shows in the twin-packs that run at 4, 5 and 6 p.m. I'll have the new grid up Sunday afternoon or evening.

Only in regards to the dub. Why can't I have my own opinion on it? I'm not hurting anyone by disliking an 'adaption' that changes the story, completely rewrites the script, and changes all the characters personalities, am I?
I love Digimon, and especially Savers. The longer before it gets tarnished in the public eye, the better, imho.
Please, can't I just go a few days without getting attacked on something like this?

I, for one, can't wait for Data Squad. Yes, I called it "Data Squad" and not "Savers".
Burgundy Ranger

His song-and-dance is decidedly tired.
Not wrong, mind you, just tired.
Then again, DDS is not supposed to be "Savers in English," either. It's no crime against humanity to adapt a show -- that wasn't all that pristine and perfect to begin with -- to a different target audience that isn't deemed to be ready (through the efforts of bozo kids TV executives and too-big-for-their-britches watchdog groups like the PTC) for what they might see/hear in a true transposition of "Savers in English."
And that puts all such Japanese animation, Sentai, Toku, etc., in an unfortunate position from which it might never be rescued.
I've watched the first 10 eps of the subbed Savers and am worried I'm gonna be locked into 10 weeks of "HUH?" "WHA?" and other disappointments when the dub hits Jetix. I'm at a point where I don't even know whether to go on with the rest of the subs.
Why can't I have my own opinion on it?
I respect your opinion, dude, but it seems that every Digimon-related topic is the same. We talk about Digimon, you bring up how much of a "hackdub" it is, people start arguing about it, the moderators get tired of it, a good topic gets closed. I have a feeling it'll be happening to this topic, as well.
I realize it's not your fault that people go against your opinion, but if you know it's likely just going to end in a topic derailing, why do it?

Well if Toei says 'Fall" that could mean it could be released between September 21st and December 22nd, 2007. Of course knowing Disney which usually runs in Financial Quearters, I would say expect Data Squad to be released sometime after the new Fiscal year, October 1st to December 22nd..

The longer it takes for this abomination of a hackdub to see the light of day, the better. There's no need to get impatient.
This isn't critism or and attack or anything, so don't take it like that, but could you at least wait until the first episode premieres until you pass judgement? Nimoy gets to do the show his way this time, not the way Fox Kids tells him to do it. It had the potential to be good, but blatent negativity is just like smashing this DigiEgg before its hatched.
Also, I hope there is a movie marathon. I missed the Return of Diaboramon movie, so I want to tape it.

Not really a KP Hundo. Make that a KP Hundo PLUS, seeing as it takes up more time than Naruto's Hundo. I mean, they gotta air Playhouse Disney in the morning!

This is off-topic, but due to the success of the Gargoyles book, do you think an American Dragon comic under said Disney label could work? Personally, I'd rather buy an AD comic then the Haunted Mansion title.

It WILL be sad to see KP end.:( I've enjoyed myself in the talkbacks that we've had these past 4 years, as well as reading all your comments.:) Especially from the one-and-only TucsonCoyote himself.:D
Thank you there Viper. And believe me I got a special Graduation talkback coming on September 7th. believe me This one really spells it all out..in one shot..After all Like Season 4 promised.. Everything changes.
BTW, Tucson, when this show does end, will I still hear from you? I certainly wouldn't want to lose a close ally in these forums.:)
Oh you'll hear from me, once i settle into my new villain's lair (or coyote's den or whatever you call it.) After all After KP and Jake are over, I'm moving.. to another locale.. the one I'm in isn't that conducive to either computers or persons.. Hopefully the next place will be a lot cooler and a bit more worth it.. just one thing.. Wish me luck.. cause I'm gonna need it.
WOW, 2 fantastic shows I know of will end in September: KP & Winx Club.:( I only hope the final eps for both series will be spectacular.;)
If Bob and Mark have anything to say about Graduation..Then believe me the final 2 episodes will really spell it out.. After all This is really where the show needs to end. But that doesn't mean the story has to..After all there's fan fiction when it all boils down to it. It'll just be up to the fans to decide where things go from here.. After all I'm a philosopher first, and an Optimist second.
Too bad I gotta wait till January for the new Spiderman & Transformers shows. They both look great!:D
Well there ya go.. After all I'm not giving up on Cartoons anytime soon. Ben 10 looks interesting and it's sequel looks just as promising.. Probably will switch gears and take a look at Avatar.. hopefully Avatar won't end up going out with a whimper.. but rather just like KP most animated series should go out with a bang.. That's the beauty of cartoons.. You can end them really anyway you want.. But I think in today's world.. Cartoons shouldn't be like the Simpsons where they become watered down. They need to really end on a good note.. that's what makes a good cartoon a great one..
and that's from a philosophical point of view..

To be honest ,I believe that Disney Channel is making a mistake in ending Kp and ADJL at this time. I think that both shows could have gone on for several more seasons . Just like THE SIMPSONS bot KP and ADJL have a large and loyal fan base. They could have gone on forever or a least a very long time. However, the excutives of Disney Channel was looking at one thing and one thing only The bottom line :money. Which In my opinon is a very wrong perpective to look at.
Correction: Money and Miley. (and the Wildcats, if counting HSM)Correction: Money and Miley. (and the Wildcats, if counting HSM)
You Do realize that they only care about Miley and HSM because it gets ratings from girls 6-11 and guys in their 20s like yourself, so as a resukllt it gets money, resulting in a waste of post and 20 seconds of my life i can never get back..

Let's not blame HM and HSM for KP and Amdrag's cancellation, after seeing the kids in that Make-A-Wish commercial getting excited over HSM it made me think Am I selfish for hating these live action shows just because I 'think' their the reason why Amdrag is cancelled? the more I think about it,the more I realize this is not about me,it's not about stupid target demographs,it's isn't even about two great animated shows,it's about making this generation of kids happy.
I'm going to have kids one of these days and if this is what makes them happy, that's all that matters. If you guys don't like it,there's animation selection galore over the internet.Personally,I want Disney to have more options but right now they don't.So I'm going to move on and wait until they do.
If they don't,well, hello Avatar and on-line television broadcasting! :D

Not bad, a Joker-thon. My assumption for the next would be either "World's Finest" or "Secret Origins"
Superman: TAS AND Batman: TAS? Whoa. Definitely not something I'd expect to see on a Disney station.
I just don't get it. Disney has plenty of shows they own that they could show on Jetix, yet they're turning to outside sources like DC for programming? It seems so...weird.

I wonder if they will air them at random points in the schedule or have something of a World's Finest hour.
Since it was brought up in another thread, I'd say Static Shock would be a good choice to consider as it:
A. Isn't on DVD yet.
B. Being that it's tamer than the shows in question, should get by on minimal editing (then again, Spider-Man The Animated Series).
Besides, Batman appears on a good number of episodes as well as the Superman appearance.

Everything I've posted about a possible 10/1 change is pure speculation. Just that a September full of marathons, only one new ep of PROO and the two new-show debuts on the final weekend of the month just seem to add up to that possibility.

I can't freak'n believe Superman and Batman are coming to Jetix. That's just... dang... How did Time Warner let this happen? What does this mean for the rest of the DCAU? Will they nab The Batman, Teen Titans and Legion some day? Gah... now CN can't even play those glorious DCAU series even if they ever got the urge to do so.
Well unless Jetix edits them then I guess I'm cool with it. I get Jetix afterall. Now if they would just get TMNT 2003, we'd be golden.
And somebody out there needs to start playing Batman Beyond.

That's it:mad: ! Disney is officially dead to me right now! I wouldn't have lost so much respect for Disney if they just made more high-quality original creations for Jetix and their other subsidiaries and also dig much deeper into the Fox Kids library instead of turning to more outside sources for programming or gobbling up more companies.
Why do so many media companies nowadays sell their own souls to the greedy, dangerously copyright-obsessed demon mouse instead of taking the time to look for some decent companies, such as Navarre and Geneon(companies like them would probably handle properties they've licensed a dozen times more properly than the evil mouse himself would), to partner up with, eh:shrug: ? Those companies should just let their own creations roam free and stay more than 999 trillion feet away from that greedy, ever-hungry corporate mouse, otherwise their own creations will have a 99.99% chance of ending up in that vault(it's simply copyright hell for any property Disney owns, for those of you, who never saw Disney's ominously dark side before) forever:( .

IIRC, Cartoon Network still has the rights to air them.
It is possible for two networks to hold the rights to air the same series.

Agreed.
I like the news. This is opening up a bunch of possibilities. With all that they own now, I could easily see them spinning off the whole network to its own channel.
But it's fine the way it is.

What is it about Disney that gets you so riled up? It's not like Mickey Mouse killed one of your relatives.
As for Batman and Superman being edited: If it is edited, then there are the unedited DVD's, which are out there to buy.
As for why Time-Warner is doing this, well I figure that since they haven't been on television in a while, they decided to sell it to a network that was willing to pay for the rights. I know there is Boomerang, but Toon Disney is in more homes than Boomerang and well, Turner and WB don't get along.

True, and the show compliments Aladdin as well. Despite the episode "Hercules And The Grim Avenger" Aladdin kind of their Batman (it is on the more serious side, more than Herc anyway). Heck, just like Batman got more episodes over Superman, Aladdin had more than Hercules.

Good points, Aladdin is like Batman (despite the huge class difference). I think Hercules directly took some Superman elements. As a matter of fact, that gives me an idea for a thread.

WRONG!
3:30 - ReplacementsI regret to inform you that they didn't even have the gumption to let this schedule get on the air before they changed it again.
Tuesday's revision puts all animation right back to where it is now -- relegated to the midnight-6 a.m. block.
We will now get Suite Life at noon and Hannah at 12:30, the Disney Channel Movie at 1 p.m. and another of those hour-long rotating live-action blocks at 3:00.
Sorry!
