It's the first of the month again and this time the dog days of Summer are upon us.

But for us gamers it's time to show and tell what we got this month.
And with 31 days, a lot of buying can be going on..

So then, what did you buy this month?

As for myself, I'm going to be picking up the last add-on pack currently for the Sims 2:

Sims 2 H&M Fashion stuff gives the player more fashion to choose from courtesy of H&M, the European retailer that is taking the US by storm with its trendsetting contemporary fashions. This new add-on gives you a lot for 20 bucks (actually $19.99), but still your Characters can choose from a large line of fashions. But that's not all, want to build an H&M Fashion Store? Well now you can with new objects as well, including Clothing Mannequins, Fitting Rooms, and even a new Cash Register.


But for 20 Bucks American, this one really starts to give more choices for the player to use.


Of course I'm thinking Madden '08 next...For myself, Been a long time since I played football. Or I might go for Rollercoaster Tycoon 3 Platinum. Build an amusement park and watch the tourists come in.

Not exactly a game, but game related - the Blue Dragon OST came in the post today. Loved the music from when i played the demo (especially the mini-boss theme "Eternity". I could listen to that on loop all day)

EDIT: Oooookay. Instead of Ultimate Ninja 2, the guy slipped an Uzumaki Chronicles in the case. Which is fine, I guess, since I just found out from research that UN 2 is one of the crappy ones that has the limited roster. So I guess I won out in the deal.

...Empires is okay...looked cooler on the back of the box. At least the voice work is laughable. Giant Enemy Crab laughable.

I had a EBGames coupon, so I grabbed a copy of Eragon for Xbox 360 for a whole $10 new.

I know the game isn't fantastic, but that's, like, two dollars more than renting the thing, and it's still going for $40-$50 at Best Buy and the likes. If I get a good three or four game play sessions out of it, it's paid itself off.

I bought Pokemon Pearl yesterday. It's been a long time since I've played this series but I finally decided to try it out again.

Good thing all the basics are the same for pretty much all Pokemon games. Only difference is, now X works as Start, and Y works as Select, pretty much. And everything with the touch screen is rather self-explanatory.


As for myself, I bought Full Metal Alchemist: Dual Sympathy for the DS. And it's actually a pretty good game, with the voiceovers by the real English VAs. And the Cutscenes are pretty nice, too. My only problem is, I can't beat Greed in his ultimate shield form. He's supposed to revert to normal form for a moment when he lands on the transmutation circle, but he doesn't for some reason...Anyone have any advice?

I found some Wiis available at Best Buy today, and I snagged one for them. This time, it's for my cousin. I know he wants one, and he'll probably be quite hard pressed to find one. So I thought I might as well just get one for him whenever I could.

I even got the TMNT movie games for Nintendo DS and Game Boy Advance. They, along with some other games, were on sale at Circuit City, where you'd have to buy two certain games and you'd get them both for just $30. I figured I should get some fresh portable games soon, since I might be serving jury duty next month, and I'd need something to keep me occupied while I'm waiting and stuff. However, I may return the games if I decide I'm not going to serve.
