Excellent show and not that the frelling Football Season is over, looks like we can get back to our regularly scheduled programming.

One thing tho.... NASCAR is coming... will this screw with the Futurama scheduling?

I bet it will, there all ways has to be something keeping most people from watching Futurama.

Still, it will be good to watch it again. Thanks to football, I haven't seen it for a while.

Tonight's episode is called Love and Rocket--it's brand new, not a hold-over from last season. In it Bender falls in love with the upgraded computer on the Planet Express ship (who's voiced by Sigorney Weaver).

I'm a poster child for why "Futurama" doesn't do better in the ratings. I love the show, think it's far better than either KotH (which I also like) or Simpsons (recent seasons, at any rate). But I haven't watched it in about 16 months. Why? Because Fox programs it at a stupid time -- why not put it on at 4:30pm and try to get NO AUDIENCE AT ALL, ya boneheads?! -- and 80% of the time it doesn't air because of sports pre-emptions. So I never even think about it anymore.

Finally! I haven't seen an episode since the Christmas special. With my Sundays free from now on, I get to watch these newer episodes.
