Of the three Late Night head honchos, who do you think has the better bands on their show?

To tell you the truth, I haven't watched any of them in a long time, cause working mornings == not staying up late. I typically goto bed by 8pm. I generally don't pay too much attention to the musical guest, A) Because they're the 1st to get cut, and B) I watch Letterman then Conan..regardless. (Unless a band I really like is on Leno - In which case I'll switch over)

Well, my personal vote goes for Conan. He tends to have more alternative rock bands on his show than Letterman does and I find myself liking the music on Conan more, tho Letterman has what? A couple decades worth of music from his show? Letterman has had some memorable performances on his show, but I think Conan consistently has more musical guests I like.

For the most part I hate musical guests, I'd much rather see another guest (Sometimes the little known third wheel guest is the funniest!) or a stand-up comedian. Someone mentioned SNL, which is where I hate musical guests the most. Not to mention the reruns on Comedy Central always keeps both performances while I think they should cut at least one to keep more skits.

This is veering off topic a tad, but I had heard that one thing that has stopped season sets of SNL coming out on DVD is the fact that they can't get the rights to the home video releases of much of the music. I know SNL has had some great music on the show, but that is not the reason I would want to buy SNL on DVD. I say give me the skits and keep the music if you must.
