I myself registered a while back. The forums (despite some flamers) are almost as good as Toon Zone in the civility tone. Definately better than the Internet Movie Database forums.
As far as contribution, I've added the usual episode notes, a few edit corrections.
Major ones include adding info from the recent Gargoyles comics in episodes which connect to the event of the comic (Such as Brendan's last name revealed in #4, Morgan's partner in Temptations reappearing in #3 with his name revealed).
For the Power Ranger episodes, I pretty much would note the occasions in which the monter of the week would appear in noncanon stories such as the video games and the comics.
How about anyone else?

I think I'm still listed as a contributor on a couple shows, but after they switched from the superior tvtome.com to the crappy tv.com, I stopped contributing. I still hate the layout and overall look. The message boards are pretty nice, though.

I thought that they were TZ's archival?

Not really much, but I'm the editor of the page on Dwayne McDuffie. All I really did was just straighten up some trivia bits as well as grammer correction.

I don't contribute much, but I am a regular poster on the site.

I post at their forums and contribute to the Law & Order episode guide, mostly adding a few details.
Their new additions system sucks though.. TVtome was much better in terms of adding news and stuff, it din't felt corporate to me.
Heck, you can't even post spoiler rumors because for them it's like piracy

I used to contribute when it was still called TvTome. I can't really be bothered to try and figure out the confusing layout of the site now; I don't like the way it looks.

In addition to becoming the editor for Doug Walker/Nostalgia Critic, I was recently made the editor of the "The Adventures Of Super Mario Bros 3" section.

Back when I was still on the site, I added in some episode notes and wrote a few recaps.

It was a lot better when it was TV Tome. The site that is, since the boards seem to be just as bad now as they ever were.
I never really contributed though, other than fixing up some links and spelling errors.

I used to, mainly trivia, episode information, goofs and so on, back when I was a member. I haven't been on TV.com since I was given the old heave-ho from there, but I hear that the boards there really got bad since Blackstar and I left.

And I can attest to that. Ever since you and your brother left the site, the animation board lost nearly all intelligent discussion, a few members aside. Even then, near the end of the year, the few good members from that side of the board, me included, either were banned or left out of disgust. Looking at what's become of the board lately, I don't regret my banning and forming of Animation Revelation one bit. Even if I didn't get the ax, I'd of probably jumped ship shortly after.

It's not just the boards, it's the entire site.
They've redesigned the format for the guides, and many longtime editors have either left, are going to leave; or in the case of one or two people, have resigned from many of their guides and won't edit much anymore.
It's that bad over there.

A while ago I would contribute to the MST3K section, but ever since the most recent redesign I just can't stand the site. It could never be as good (or as simple) as TV Tome, but it's even worse than when it first became tv.com. You are allowed to rate episodes that haven't aired yet. HAVEN'T EVEN AIRED YET. What makes that worse is that people actually DO.
I've also noticed that the trivia/notes sections are more sparse than they've ever been, and that was the main draw for me going to TV.com. Now that so many of the shows I watch have their own Wikis, TV.com is almost totally useless. The only reason I still go there at all is to get writer/director/synopsis information for the Lost talkbacks.

I don't contribute that often, but I am a regular poster in the Spongebob forums. I've heard that people from TZ have had bad experiences there, but the members are all really nice (With the exception of a troll now and then but that happens here too) and you can talk about any show you like with more detail. My only complaint is that moderation there has gotten out of control and I've had friends banned because of it.
