"You Ought to Be in Pictures" (time compressed, natch)
"Porky's Hotel"
"Porky and Gabby"
"The Queen was in the Parlor"
"Porky's Badtime Story"
"Betty Boop's Rise to Fame"

A nearly-all WB edition, with a PD Betty tossed in at the end for good measure. Combined with YOTBIP, it meant the episode began and ended with live-action/animation cartoons.

Maybe it's because I have the non-time compressed version on tape, but the time-compressed "YOTBIP" never ceases to jar me. It's really poorly done.

Overall, a pretty disappointing episode. Unfortunately, it looks like LNB&W is going to go out next week with a whimper instead of a bang..... :(

This was a boring show. Cartoon Network obviously isn't taking advantage of its opportunity to show rare B&W cartoons. Also, we got no Popeye!

For the second night in a row I didn't watch Lnb&w because I was sleeping over at my friend's house (but I did get to see the last cartoon).
I hope that next week's show is good because, well, it'll be the last one!!! :(

I'm still hoping for a good show next week...

If they somehow managed to work in a Bosko next week (or better yet all Boskos), I think I'd have a heart attack!

Somehow I doubt it'll happen though...but it sure would be a great way for the show to leave us.

Keeping in with the tradition lately, an unmemorable show. I wonder what will come on next week on the last show. Please put some thought into this, CN, this will be the LAST broadcast of LNB&W, so make it special. I hope they at least show AFRICA SQUEAKS.

Ce serait bon que samedi prochain on passe un spécial rares épisodes pour le dernier LNB&W. Voici ma suggestion:

"Wake Up the Gypsy in Me" (1933)
"Africa Squeaks" (1940)
"Opening Night" (1929)
"Rythm in the Bow" (1934)
"Scrap Happy Daffy" (1943)
"Felix the Cat in Hollywood" (1923)

Africa Squeaks and Scrap Happy Daffy aren't bad choices, especially if AS was shown uncut and SHD run at normal speed unlike the slower version aired on the Toonheads WW2 special.

For the other choices: (try to sneak in a total of 7 instead of 6!)
Kristopher Kolumbus, Jr.
Porky's Bear Facts
Porky's Ant
Porky's Midnight Matinee
Daffy's Southern Exposure

I rest my case. :D

Personally, I'd like to see "Milk and Money" in black and white, all I have is a crummy copy of the colorized version.

John Doe's lineup would be nice, but I still want to see at least one of the following cartoons: "Haunted Mouse (1941)", "Joe Glow the Firefly (1941)", "Hobby-Horse Laffs (1942)", or "Gopher Goofy (1942)".

--get to see a Betty Boop picture I hadn't seen before (with "Uncle Max", no less). A good thing I didn't go to bed when the decideldly overplayed "Badtime Story" credits rolled.

I'm not sure why a Jewish knight is cut from "Queen" yet Goopy's A&A bit remains....

Two of Gabby's three shorts aired, as well as a duckling of the same name in "Hotel" (and an old goat who may have well been Gabby Goat's grandpappy....)

So the capper at least made the night not a total loss...that and seeing a Filmation T&J (a novelty, even if had terrible editing, clunky music, and poor animation) and three Droopy shorts (although I'd seen all those pictures and went to bed after I saw credits for "Homesteader" roll....)

This show was a total waste, every cartoon of it. They showed no cartoons worthy of watching again.

I should expect next week to be bad, at least that way I won't get upset if it is. :(

No, the dubbed copywrite is for any cartoons from the old pre-1948 package that were remastered.
