Both of thes epics show the possible futures of Batman, Superman, and other famous DCU characters. However, if you could have one of the projects animated, which would you choose?

I personally would choose The Dark Knight Returns just because I love that story and it would be awesome to see animated, but on the other hand I like Luthor's involvement in Kingdom Come.

But I'm a Bat fan at heart above all else so I think I'll have to go with the Dark Knight Returns.

Technically we already got TDKR, it was in that one segment in Legends of the Dark Knight. :p

Personally I've thought for quite awhile that Kingdom Come would be an interesting project especially if you adapted it to fit in with BB and the JLU. You'd have the same basic story, but the universe that it would be adapted for would guarantee that fans wouldn't get a total rehash of KC. An interesting question that would come up in a BB/JLU KC: What side would Terry chose? Would he join the Superman camp or the Batman/Luthor camp?

Kingdom Come. Don't do anything with Batman Beyond, just present this as another possible future. If you have BB, that messes with a lot of what Kingdom Come is all about.

Kingdom Come is just so much bigger than DKR. I would really like to see it happen.

While both would be cool, Mr. Obsession is right we have seen DKR, so I'd have to vote for a glimpse at KC.

Nothing against Kingdome Come, but I want to see TDKR animated. I know we got a taste of it in the Legends Of The Dark Knight episode of TNBA, but I want the whole meal!

Possible voice talents include...

Batman/Bruce Wayne: Kevin Conroy or Michael Ironside

Female Robin/Carrie Kelly: Anndi McAtie

Alfred: Efrem Zimbalist Jr

James Gordon: Bob Hastings

Government Agent Superman: Tim Daly

Harvey Dent: Richard Moll

Joker: Mark Hamill

I would rather see NML than either. :)

NML would be really kick ass! So would Knightfall.....

Oooh, with Knightfall, it could be post RotJ, so the rest of the gang has left....and when Bruce reclaims the mantle of the Bat...it's with the BB Suit (which Bruce was using till he retired...)

Kingdom Come.

It's on such a grander scale than DKR. However, Kingdom Come could never be just one or two parts of an episode. It would have to be a full-scale, feature length animated movie, in the style of BTAS if it's going to have the proper impact.

It's all about TDKR...

Kingdom Come is great but after seeing the segment from TDKR on the animated series I want more...

I'd at least like to see some of the Kingdom Come characters. For instance, if Dick Grayson showed up in Batman Beyond he could have had Nightstar in tow, etc.

I agree with naraht and the game...No Man's Land would be really awesome...that was such a great story. Knightfall would also be extremely interesting. Hmm, it might have to have a high rating, though...not for the kiddies!

Kingdom Come, definitely. True, we saw the DKR in "LOTD", but I'd like to see Kingdom Come and DKR as separate projects. We only saw one small scene from DKR anyway. It should be in Alex Ross-style artwork, of course.

I just posted this on another thread, but, oh well-I'd like to see The Long Halloween. This would be extemely dark and awesome.

Picking between KC and DKR-I'd have to go KC, because in Dark Knight, we'd actually see Alfred kick over, after which I would be sobbing like a baby and no longer cool to all the folks I'd dragged in to watch it with me. :(

Like everyone else, I'd love to see both animated. But if I had to choose right now I'd go with TDKR. TDKR is a Batman story. KC is more of a JL type story, focusing on other heros besides Batman. And since we already have one show that focuses on a bunch of different heros, I want something that focuses back on the Bat.
