Nope. It didn't sell well enough according to Warner Bros, but the ones you're looking for could be on iTunes.

Um..Okay, well........ That doesn't really answer as to for sure if Volume 2 of HuckleBerry Hound really WILL be made. And I don't have Itunes. Still would appreciate if anyone here really DID know for sure if volume 2 or anything like that really WILL come out or not. ;)

CatNo, nothing is planned at this time. Warner Home Video scrapped all plans of a second release after the disappointing sales from Huck Volume 1 and the Yogi Bear set. They seem to think that it is not worth the money to restore the cartoons and make-up new special features for Huck at this point in time. That's not to say it'll never get released. It's just not anytime soon.

Currently, Popeye, Josie and the Pussycats, and Superfriends: The Legendary Super Powers Show are the next classic Warner animation DVDs to come out, followed by Aquaman and Super Powers Team Galactic Guardians.

A source involved with the sets has said that the remaining Huckleberry Hound cartoons have already been restored (they were all done at the same time). Warner Home Video just doesn't think it's worth the effort to release them at this time.

How can classic shows like this not sell well?

Its really odd especially when I see a lot of tv sets that I wouldn't think many people would buy on shelves. Yet iconic characters get the boot?

I think the biggest problem was that Warner Home Video released the Yogi/Huck sets during the busy holiday release season and those two sets were lost in the flood of holiday releases, including many animated sets to compete with (including that year's Looney Tunes, Tom & Jerry, Scooby Doo and Flintstones sets). I am hoping WB takes another look at Huck someday.

Well, the total lack of television advertising for their releases helps. Whenever Animaniacs and Justice League had a new DVD, Warner Brothers would run TV ads for them. I've never seen a single commercial for any of the H-B DVD sets.

three reasons:
1. The fans of these shows have grown old enough to not care about picking them up.

2. Fans of these shows don't want to pay for something they're used to getting for free.

3. Lack of exposure on Cartoon Network to build up a following among small kids who control the market with their "gimmes!"

Or the fact that if you didn't have the internet, chances are you wouldn't even know these sets even existed.

that seems to be the truth about a majority of vintage TV sets. The internet does seem to do the heavy work of marketing.
