View Full Version : Got My Mojo Working

I had said I'd soon be getting a 'special' new avatar, and here it is! PPG comic-book artist Chris Cook drew this one especially for me.

A couple weeks ago we were participating in a PPG 'chat' and I mentioned how hard it was to find merchandise with mellow images of Mojo (he's usually scowling, or getting pounded, or both.) So Chris offered to provide me with such an image. I'm going to look into the possibility of putting it on a tee-shirt.

Thank you, Chris!

My appreciation, Vince!

And feel free to claim my former avatar if you want it, Spyro.

A Puff Uncle avatar - now THAT is the definition of cool!

Cool!

Re: scowling/getting pounded/both: I guess that's his right to scowl, being a super-villian and all...no, wait, Brain scowled a lot, too, and he's not a villain. Though I guess I'd scowl too if I were getting pounded by my arch-nemeses. Um....nevermind...

-B.
That was...somewhat coherent.

Of course he has a *right* to scowl. I just like to think there's another side to him, as a lot of you have probably deduced from my fan fiction.

(Speaking of which: I've just completed another long PPG story, which'll almost certainly be going up at Pokey Oaks Library come March. It's kind of a take-off on 'Mission:Impossible.')

I must say your avatar is very nice, which is to say I like your avatar. However, there can be only one Mojo Jojo, and the number of Mojo Jojo's shall be one. Two Mojo Jojos are one too many!

Oh, they're together in real life. Haven't you seen that commercial?

I've heard about this one- where Mojo brings Moko home to watch the PPGs on his Panasonic entertainment system. But I've never managed to catch it, durn the luck.

And if it's posted somewhere on the web, I haven't been able to locate it.

I've seen it a couple of times. Recalling his Victrola in "Telephonies", a mega-sound system like that seems a big step up. Now whether he stole it or--since love makes one do crazy things--actually bought/rented it, I'm not sure. And of course, Mojo seldom scowled in "Beat-Alls" after she came into his life. The shot of them howling on the street together might make a fun avvy.... :D

Hmmm.....I'll be on the lookout for that commercial....

Cool avatar! :D And I completely agree about there being more than one side to Mojo ... he's hilarious! [Edit: I'm thinking I should have submitted this for the Valentine's Avatar contest instead, but I just like Samurai Jack too much, I guess. :o ]

--a Useless Fact: There's a font called just that. It was designed by Jim Parkinson and was adapted from a style made popular in the San Francisco area during the sixties because of its use on concert posters.

MOJO JOJO: What?! My distinctive and noble family appellation exploited for little more than illustrations on crass commercial endeavors? How dare they! [voice rises as he continues] For the name "Mojo" is spoken with terror by a million tongues in a thousand cities far and wide! These infidels will pay for their arrogance and infringement! The streets will run red with their life essences at the hand of me...Mojo Jojo...for I will be the one to smite them mightily and destroy them without mercy...that is to say, a demise devoid of pity and cleansed of sentiment! [pauses, looks at overflowing laundry hamper, sighs heavily, voice drops to normal tone] But first I must wash the clothes that I have worn which have been stained by the odious eminations of my corpus.

I sure wouldn't mind if it did.

BTW: Can anybody tell me the meaning of that little red mark beside this Thread's title?

It means that this thread has an attachment in it, which in this case is SSC's Mojesha (?) pic. Attachments are stored within the post, as opposed to be linked from somewhere else. Only mods can post attachments (SSC mods the Fun & Games board, which I recommend to fun-lovers everywhere!)

Ah! Thanks for letting me know, Brian.

Y'know, at first glance I though *maybe* it was a little Valentine... <3
