Man, nobody posted this? Not even the mods. Well this is big, indeed!
Cartoon Network has hired numerous artists for numerous pilots for The Network. But first things first.
The first is this.....Powerpuff Girls!
That's right, a Powerpuff Girls special is in the works (Half Hour).
Foster's had just finished up their fifth season, and are now working on their sixth season.
The folks at Chowder has finished up 13 episodes for the first season. They're commencing another 13 episodes.
Camp Lazlo wraps up its fourth season.
Two new pilots are being done by Maxwell Atoms (Billy and Mandy).
CN has a dozen of 2 minute shorts slated for the internet, theaters near you and on mobile (I think it's the current and upcoming CN comedy shows). More shorts are being developed.
Class of 3000 is wrapping up its second season.
Several pilots are in various stages of development at Cartoon Network. (I sense another What A Cartoon like show coming soon)
http://animationguildblog.blogspot.com/2007/07/monday-studio-rotation.html
I sense CN coming back to its roots a little bit. NOT A LOT, but a little bit from what I heard.
EDIT:
As Tom Tucker:
In other CN news, to answer Mugen's question about anime, Megaman Star Force will air as a two hour special on Cartoon Network in August. A sneak peak (sample) of the series will be on Toonami Jetstream for download. Produced by Xebec.

This is awesome news.
However....I AM getting a little curious about CN USA's sudden revival of the Powerpuff Girls....

Hm.. Maybe the special was the rumor going around the Japanese BBS/Forums... Regardless, this should be interesting. I still wish we'd get more information on the US airing of PPGZ...

However....I AM getting a little curious about CN USA's sudden revival of the Powerpuff Girls....
Perhaps it's to hype up the premiere of Powerpuff Girls Z... I could see the half hour special followed by the premiere of Z. That would be pretty awesome.
Thanks for the news John! It all sounds great!

EDIT: Now I understand. I was rather confused there for a moment. I like "Pieces of Hope" better though. Nana Kitade ftw.

The first two announcements I like. The rest, I don't really care. Pilots are always good, though.

Yay, this is some great news. Thanks so much for letting us in on the info! :blossom: I am quite interested in this PPG special. I'll probably be tuning in for the premiers, too.

A PPG special would be nice... if they can get it done right.
And if Foster's Home is wrapping up it's fifth season, when's the rest gonna air on CN?

I'd be more excited about the PPG special if the last season of the show hadn't been a total garbage dump. I'd only harbor any optimism toward this if Craig McCracken is involved.
As for the pilots, I'll have to see them before I can rightfully pass judgment.
CN still has to do A LOT to get back in my good graces again, so it's going to be an uphill battle.

Why do I get the feeling this half-hour episode is "See Me, Feel Me, Gnomey"? That's the only episode that hasn't aired in the US.

That'd be just as good, and much easier and cheaper for CN, too.;)

John Timmons, you better be right and your sources better be accurate, because you just put your credibility on the line . . . because this is generally great news, much better news than CN fans are used to.

Anything with Maxwell Atoms and co. i'll watch(That's why im trying to be open minded w/ Chowda)
Ya, i really think the 1/2 hr special is See Me, Feel Me, Gnomy..
The official wording is "The Powerpuff Girls returns to the teevee with a new 1/2 hour special now in work."
It's in the world. The Gnomy episode is done. I fully expect this to be a new episode. Shouldn't be too hard since a lot of the staff still works for CN.

CN is going to have to do much better than that to get my respect back and they could start by picking up any potential future seasons of Digimon from Toei and Bandai.

Your NOT in CN's target demographic. They could care less if you actually respect them or not.

Jesus, I fear the day some of you become Mods. There'll be pratically no one left. Plus you people are the type that if these "trolls" have mental problems or whatever love to kick them while they're down and make fun of them or reference tham again and again.

that there are some people who have to make a mention to a certain thing while posting. For example, Emperor Merlin does this with Toei/Saban a lot, making the post utter spam and seem off topic, resulting in annoyed peopel such as myself. TheFZAtUGSOnline does this with Fox Kids and 4K!DS TV..

Ginormous is a real word now? What's next, chillax?
The first is this.....Powerpuff Girls! That's right, a Powerpuff Girls special is in the works (Half Hour).I recall "Puff Daddy" saying in an interview that PPG is just on an extended break, and this is proof that he hasn't put in all his cards at Madame Foster's.
Speaking of which:
Foster's had just finished up their fifth season, and are now working on their sixth season.Good to hear. No longer just Austrailian for beer, the show has become a fairweather brand at Techwood, and they definitely need them.
The folks at Chowder has finished up 13 episodes for the first season. They're commencing another 13 episodes. That's a no-brainer. The show hasn't begun yet, but they have to at least have 26. I'd still like to see if Secret Saturdays will have a similar reupping before it debuts.
Camp Lazlo wraps up its fourth season. Class of 3000 is wrapping up its second season. Another no-brainer. Both shows are slowly gaining a following, but they still have a long path to go to become major brands.
Two new pilots are being done by Maxwell Atoms.I like Max. He's cool. His works are weird, strangely pseudo-adult, and actually kind of addictive. Whatever he spawns, I'll be interested.
CN has a dozen of 2 minute shorts slated for the internet, theaters near you and on mobile (I think it's the current and upcoming CN comedy shows). More shorts are being developed.
Several pilots are in various stages of development at Cartoon Network. (I sense another What A Cartoon like show coming soon)It's good to see Cartoon Network developing pilots. It'll be even greater if the public actually sees them unlike the last batch. Though it would be nice for a WAC!-like show back on the airwaves, I think Techwood wants regular series for the duration.
I sense CN coming back to its roots a little bit. NOT A LOT, but a little bit from what I heard. They're not going back to their roots. Like a woman who always had a blonde dye job, they've forgotten what their roots looked like. They're basically trying to bring in a new generation of viewers before shuffling this generation away from the network in a few years. Remember, when you're 12, they want nothing to do with you.
In other CN news, to answer Mugen's question about anime, Megaman Star Force will air as a two hour special on Cartoon Network in August. A sneak peak (sample) of the series will be on Toonami Jetstream for download. Produced by Xebec. Good to know. Not really a fan of Mega Man, but I'll check it out when I can.

My understanding is that the actual series will be on Jetstream, not just a sample. This is what IGN said (the source of your source):
This new Nintendo DS game kicks off the next Mega Man franchise for Capcom, which will be followed by a new Cartoon Network show based in the updated universe (premiering with a 2-hour special in August, and also available July 23 on Toonami Jetstream).

That'd be just as good, and much easier and cheaper for CN, too.;) Well it would be a huge disappointment for us outside the US who have seen it 7 times. It's not so great anyway it's a musical.
As for dubbed PPGZ, that has no potential to be as great as the original and I will only use one example because they'll cut out a lot of 'non-pc' stuff which Americans are low-brow about. There is no telling how many 'inappropriate' things there are in Z. This is the kind of heavy editing Funimation did on DragonballZ.
I like the idea of more possible Cartoon Cartoons coming.
