This is definately one of my must-buys (along with Blu Duel and Verde Buster kits) this weekend. Especially since a) I haven't seen past Volume 5 and b) Episode 1's up on Anime Network On Demand.

I'm still working on it through single volumes. ADV should be having an uber-sale on it any day now.

But yeah, this is a show that makes you feel good.

Finally, I was waiting for a complete collection to come out. Now I can invest in it and thus hopefully revel in its awesomeness I was exposed to in the first episode.

This show was a blast, something I looked forward to with each new volume. Just pure, unadulterated energy and fun. Deep? Not really, but who cares, it wasn't trying to be. The show had plot twists to keep me interested, great animation, a rousing soundtrack, and good conflict towards the end of the series when Goh had the inner virus and tried to contain it . The episodes focusing on other crew members and fighters besides Anna and Goh were a nice touch, too. And the fanservice? Gives the show some identity. The show would've been memorable even without it, but the fanservice added to the over-the-top nature of the show instead of hampering it.

It also has one of the best ADV dubs I've ever heard, with everyone appropriately energy-filled for a show like this.
How much does the set cost? I saw it in Best Buy the other day; it was either $50 or $60, I forget which. Probably $60.

Why can't we get stuff like this on AS?

Because the person in charge of getting anime hates fanservice.

How did Crayon Shinchan slip past her?

How did Crayon Shinchan slip past her?

It's because the people at WS love Shin-Chan and worked out a way to get it here to America.

Also, Kim Manning doesn't hate fanservice. She doesn't like shows where fanservice is more important than the main plot.
