With TTG! having just hit a stride lately, and some of the upcoming issues looking very promising, I was wondering which issues are widely considered the best for the comic. Hopefully it's run will be extended after issue 50, but in any event I'd like to know what the highs of the series are.
Some of my favorites...
#12 Magic and Misdirection: I like it since it's a rare look at Terra actually fighting crime with the Titans before the whole betrayal issue. And it explains a flashback in "Aftershock pt.2"
#34 The Great Race: Kid Flash vs. Mas y Menos in race around the world! It's my favorite one because of all of KF's quips and a general curiosity about which of the 3 speedsters would win. Just a fun issue all around.
#39 Stupid Cupid: Larry thinks it'd be a great idea to "ship" everybody like Robin and Starfire for Valentines Day. Hijinks ensue. Makes fun of shipping and has some crackiness in it as well. What's not to love?

There was an issue of the comic where Terra betrayed the Titans? I thought that was only in the series.

I think he means issue as event, not a comic book type issue.

...! Heh, my bad.
I'm currently in the process of re-reading all the issues, so I'll post here again when I finish. Probably sometime within the next two/three weeks.

Issue 42: Pieces of Me :raven:
Issue 44: Red Raven :raven2:
This is the closest I think we'll ever get to a story arc in Teen Titans Go!, and I love it! In summary, in Issue 42, Raven splits up into her multiple personality clones, and the Titans have to go and capture them. But they forget to capture the Red, evil Raven. So in Issue 44, Raven is back in her white robe, and is all 'nice' and has no evil in her, and crimes are blamed on her. It turns out to be the Red Raven, so they have to go get that one. These issues were hilarious, and example would be the one Raven liking Beast Boy. Also, I loved the action in these issues, some of the best in the series in my opinion!
Issue 28: Surprises
I'm not sure what everyone thought of the Doom Patrol in the last season, but I personally wasn't a fan. To say the least, I thought it was horrible. But I loved this issue. I thought it was cool how it was kind of a Beast Boy origin story, and I'm looking forward to the Cyborg origin story (but thats besides the point). I also thought the Doom Patrol were really cool in this issue. Plus, I thought Animal-Vegetable-Mineral Man was.....a unique idea to say the least.

I only picked up the 2nd digest, the first issue and the first aqualad issue. Out of all of those...my favorites were...

Issue 1 - Demo
The art is spectacular here - a really, really strong start. While the cast is noticeably similar to that of the show's premiere episode, Final Exam, it's still fun to get to see them all in action. There's some confusion with regards to the idea that both the heroes and the villains are playing a video game in which they fight one another. That aside, any first issue this enjoyable is worth starting off with.

Issue 11 - Countdown
With art by Nauck and a story that explores Terra's time with the Titans before the big reveal of her betrayal, it's a must read. I hadn't understood that Terra was as willing a participant in Slade's plans as this until I read this issue.

Issue 12 - Magic and Misdirection
Mumbo's a bit of a bozo villain. His motivations are never really explained, and he's only good for some interesting visuals. Thankfully, Torres gets this and write an issue that showcases Nauck's abilities, all the while stuffing the book with games and riddles and chibis. It's a whack of fun, and really captures the spirit of the series.
...since those are the only three I own and can recommend, I'm going to make some guesses based on the reviews at World's Finest...

Issue 18 - When Chibis Attack
The reviewer (Bird Boy) really seemed to like the issue, and honestly, I think it's great that TTG is willing to be self-referencial. The chibis are a constant presence in the book, and to see them interact with the real titans sounds like a good time to me. Plus...Nauck artwork!

Issue 25 - Secret Santa
I love holiday issues, and this one's got two stories for the price of one!

Issue 27 - Love is a Battlefield
I couldn't say if this issue is better, worse or similar to the third Valentine's Day issue, but from the description, it's a hoot with plenty of continuity.

Issue 31 - Night Time
So there's no review up for this one yet, but hey...Nightwing! What could be cooler? Hopefully, this issue's as good as I've been imagining it to be...

Issue 34 - The Great Race
After the Flash/Superman race on S:TAS, and the Superboy/Flash race from Adventures in the DC Universe I'm not sure if this story will be anything more than a retread (pun intended). But folks mentionned it as a fave, so here it is.

Issue 36 - Troy
This is probably the one issue I'm most jazzed about getting to read. The idea of Wonder Girl isn't appealing, since Wonder Woman wasn't really well treated in the DCU (in my opinion, her characterization and origins were kinda skewed majorly)...but that cover more than makes up for my skepticism. BRING IT ON!

Issue 37 - Winterlude
I did pick up this issue, but sadly it was missing some pages, with doubles accidentally stapled in. It made for a really, really strange read, given the story is told through verses of a song, if I recall. A different artist, but a nice issue. Maybe worth a re-read, if I ever find a better copy.

Issue 39 - Stupid Cupid
I got the chance to flip through this one, and liked what I saw. Again, is it too similar to the other Valentine's issues? Maybe. But it also debuts Robin and Starfire...the couple!

Issue 42 - Pieces of Me
Despite being the title of a bad Ashlee Simpson song (is there any other kind?) this issue has been praised recently. A guest artist fills in, but from what I saw in the sequel issue, he's a good one.

Issue 44 -
I sped-read through this at the shop, and can safely say the conclusion to the first part was a nice one. Would have picked this one up, but I'm thinking of waiting to get the trade paperback, since there are some must-read origins stories coming up in these last few issues before the finale.
Well, I only started reading the series at issue 20, but I'd reccomend every issue except for:
#22, one of the double feature issues. The first story suffered from bad dialouge and worse art, while the second, despite fantastic art, had no point to it. IMO, a waste of time, ink, and paper.
Winterlude, which (if memory serves, I haven't read it recently) suffered from the same problems as Part 1 of #22.

Winterlude, which (if memory serves, I haven't read it recently) suffered from the same problems as Part 1 of #22.I'm guessing the art on the inside's not the same as the cover? Because I think the cover art is great (can't get enough of Raven's winter cloak)...

The interior artist for winterlude is the same guy who did the covers of Robin and Nightwing fighting, the one with Larry, and the big race cover too.
His style isn't Naucks, but it's kinda cool.
