J-Man

First, the good guys (and gals)...
TERRY - I suppose Will Friedle has the character down more than anyone, but he just doesn't quite have that intensity in his face. I think WES BENTLEY might be more suited to play Terry.
BRUCE - I've heard (as I'm sure everyone has) all sorts of names, from Charlton Heston to Paul Newman (which could work, maybe). But has anyone mentioned GREGORY PECK? If not, let me be the first. The more I think about it, the more I can't imagine anyone else in the role.
BARBARA - Let's see..... the role would need an older woman who can be strong and smart. I'm thinking ELLEN BURSTYN.
DANA - I think JESSICA ALBA is ethnically ambiguous enough to pull off Dana. It doesn't hurt that she's also really cute.
Now, the villains....
DEREK POWERS - Powers needs to be charming and slimy, with a distinct voice. I like to think ROBERT WISDEN (who played "Pusher" on The X-Files years ago) could do the character justice.
INQUE - It's tough to figure out who'd be good in this role. All you'd really need is a nice face, a sultry voice, and an attitude, and CGI would take care of the rest. So I settled on FAMKE JANSSEN, who, it turns out, will be playing the villainess in Men in Black 2.
CURARE - All you'd need for THIS role is a thin, athletic, flexible, martial-arts woman. No real need to hire an award-winning actress for the always silent Curare. PATRICIA VELASQUEZ from The Mummy Returns should do, right?
SHRIEK - To me, Walter Shreeve was average in terms of physicality, with a kind of befuddled, likeable manner - at least before Batman made him lose his hearing. So I pick either GUY PEARCE or EDWARD NORTON to play our favorite sound engineer gone bad.
KING OF THE ROYAL FLUSH GANG - SEAN CONNERY. Period.
THE JOKERZ - Most of them can just be unknowns, but for their leader J-Man (my username!), they should cast some actor/comedian like JIMMY FALLON, to give a bit of a sense of humor to the gang. *But I'd like to think that in the feature film the Jokerz will be a bit more menacing and dangerous than in the cartoon*
And lastly, for the score to the film, you just get Shirley Walker or Kristopher Carter to collaborate with someone who knows a bit more about electronic music, like Moby or Liam Howlett from Prodigy. And the soundtrack (which they're bound to come out with) can have songs from the 90's covered by industrial/electronic groups, since the story's really all about old icons being reinvented into a sleeker and more futuristic form.
I know none of this is EVER going to happen, but it's okay to dream, right?
