Flight of the Conchords follows the trials and tribulations of a two man, digi-folk band from New Zealand as they try to make a name for themselves in their adopted home of New York City. The band is made up of Bret McKenzie on guitar and vocals, and Jemaine Clement on guitar and vocals.

Bret and Jemaine have moved to New York in the hope of forging a successful music career. So far they've managed to find a manager (whose "other" job is at the New Zealand Consulate), one fan (a married obsessive) and one friend (who owns the local pawn shop) -- but not much else.

July 8th - "Yoko"
July 15th - "Sally Returns"
July 22nd - "Bowie"
July 29th - "Drive By"
August 5th - "Girlfriends"
August 12th - "What Goes on Tour?"
August 19th - "New Fans"
August 26th - "The Actor"
September 2nd - "The Third Conchord" (Season Finale)

This is a fantastic series. There's nothing like it on television right now. Each episode has been brilliant and the writing for everything, including the songs have been hilarious. It's one of the few enjoyable shows on during the summer. It's a show that has a lot of re-watchability, and the episodes are even better a second or third time.

"Yoko" wasn't as funny as "Mugged," but it was still pretty good. I was almost expecting Mel to be the Mark David Chapman to Brett and Coco's John and Yoko. Loved Jermaine and the tiny piano.

I've really warmed up to this series in just four episodes.

The best part of "Yoko" was definitely Jemaine's poster. The little things like that are some of the best moments in the show.

"Am I freaking you out, Bret? Is this a freaky dream?"

Another hilarious episode. Jemaine's David Bowie impersonations were priceless (I lost it when "1986 David Bowie from Labyrinth" showed up). "Bowie's in Space" was a great song; I think the band's best songs are direct parodies of another artist's style (like mimicing the Pet Shop Boys for "Inner City Pressure").

I can imagine Mel writing Jemaine/Bret slash fanfiction. She's the only one who reads it.

That's awesome news...I jumped onto this show a little late (around when Drive By and Girlfriends aired), but thank goodness for On Demand. These two guys are hilarious and I'm actually kind of upset that I've never heard of them prior to this show. These guys especially had me sold with "hiphopopotamus and rhymenocerous," that was just tremendous televsion.:D
