Hmmm...interesting. :p I think I liked the Beauty and the Beast one better...of course the first time I saw the Beauty and the Beast one, I didn't know what it was about at first so it kinda freaked me out...

Anyone read Amid Amidi's typical Disney bash of these new trailers? It's quite funny. It'a featured on his www.animationblast.com webpage, and below as well:

How Low Can Disney Go? While on the surface Disney's trailers for LILO AND STITCH are cute little teasers, they also illustrate the ever-increasing desperation of Eisner & Co. to distance themselves from the films which made them their billions. In the two trailers so far, Stitch (from the upcoming feature) rampages through early-'90s films like BEAUTY AND THE BEAST and ALADDIN, in a bid to convince audiences that LILO will not be yet another prim and proper musical. It's rather telling that it's taken Eisner only eight years since the animated musical heights of THE LION KING before he's had to resort to such crude and tawdry tactics as mocking these prior accomplishments, but such is the price one pays when they insult audiences with formulaic entertainment for too long. Yet, perhaps what is even more disturbing about these trailers is that the haphazard insertion of Stitch doesn't make him look particularly out of place in these earlier Disney films. The interchangeable, assembly-line nature of modern Disney filmmaking renders Stitch a perfectly suitable addition to any of their recent features, and that is truly the saddest thing of all.

Laugh. I did. For a site that's trying to drum up more support for subscribers and viewers, he sure knows how to scare them away.

Wow...he gets more and more annoying every day.

I understand his dislike of what Eisner is doing with Disney and it's movies, but these are only trailers. It's an excellent marketing gimmick and considering the amount of press and attention Lilo & Stitch is getting because of it, I think it's working quite well.

Yeah, I read that and I can say one thing, at least Animation Blast is better than it was. Before, I didn't even see where they posted their news, now at least they have SOMETHING.

But I don't get his deal. What does Disney have to do to get a compliment?

They tried remakes like Hunchback and Hurcules, they failed.
They tried jungle themed remakes like Tarzan and Pocahontas, they failed.
They tried sequals with the same exact plot, they failed.
They tried anime-like animated features like Mulan, they failed.

At least with some original comedy, like the Emperor's New Groove and Lilo and Stitch, they can entertain someone.
