Live-Action Movie You Would Like to See Remade/Reinterpreted as Animes

O.K. I realize that this type of thread has been done before but bear with me...

So what live-action movie would you like to see remade or reinterpreted as an anime movie, OVA, or series?

I would like to see Zardoz (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zardoz)(trailer (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KUqKtOAtcyA), opening scene (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SNhWN0ietVw)) remade/reinterpreted by Satoshi Kon(Paprika, Paranoia Agent).

Eh, I was watching the most recent ep. of Gurren Lagann and with the immortal , post apocalyptic setting, giant heads, and I just can't help thinking the Spiral King is about to tell Viral the more human looking Beastpeople were raised up from "brutals" to slay "brutals" (although with all of the Spiral King's concubines I don't think he holds the view "The Penis is evil...") this ideal popped into my head; and with the Highlander anime and all....

Meet Leroy Green.

He's the oldest son of a pizza shop owner in Harlem who recently completed his martial arts training. His master sends him on a journey to search for a master who will teach him the secret of a special technique that will allow him to find "the glow." Meanwhile, a crazed music producer has plans to kidnap a television dance show host to convince her to play a video created by his no-talent girlfriend. Sho'Nuff, a gang leader calling himself the Shogun of Harlem (with martial arts skills to boot), learns of a martial artist known as "Bruce Leroy" and wants to prove his dominance over the youngster.

Long story short (too late), love, action, comedy, and all good things wrapped up in a great movie. Get Production I.G. on it, The RZA on the score, and various American, British, and Japanese hip-hop artists on it, scrap the whole 80s vibe (mostly the songs) and I could see this movie become a reality in animated form.
