name that toon!

Can some one help me name a popeye cartoon I havn't seen
since i was a kid. (40+ years ago)

they showed popeye walking down a real street, where he comes
across this kid sitting on a curb, crying his eyes out because of some bullies picking on him. Popeye starts to tell the kid
about the power of spinach, and goes into some episodes
of him and bluto/brutus going at it. Popeye hands the
kid a can of his cartoon spinich, and the kid then becomes a bully himself by beating up the kids that picked on him!
it was live action mixed with cartoon action.

Also anyone know when this was last shown if at all?

Don't know when it was last shown but the cartoon you're referring to is almost certainly "The Adventures of Popeye" (1935) by the Fleischer Studios.
