Champion Edge vs. Batista

For the Vacant ECW World Title

1. CENA beats the odds (TM) for the 4,000th time.

2. EDGE retains.

3. BENOIT becomes the ECW champ.

4. I'll go against convention and go with SANTINO MARELLA to retain.

5. MVP retains.

6. HARDYS become the new tag champs. And then they feud with London/kendrick for the summer.

7. JIMMY WANG YANG becomes the new Cruiserweight champ.

8. CANDICE MICHELLE becomes the new women's champ.

9. DEUCE AND DOMINO retain.

Well here we go. I'll give this a shot but it seems these picks will be hard to make this time.

Also, I'll be at Vengeance LIVE! this Sunday at the Toyota Center in Downtown Houston,TX. Section 108, Row 4. My friend will be carrying his WWE title belt while I will be carrying the World Heavyweight title. It will truley be a "Night of Champions!"

Raw picks:

Cena
Marella
Melina
Cade & Murdoch

Smackdown picks:

Edge
Porter
Yang
Deuce & Domino (probably vs. the Majors)

ECW pick:

Benoit

Down the line: I think Edge retains because they may be looking at Flair & Batista winning the tag titles from Deuce & Domino in the short term, and I don't think the company's ready to hand the big ball back to Batista just yet. Chavo doesn't need to be a cruiser champion again, and so it's time for him to drop the title. Yang can then be matched with Jamie Noble, whose last title run was 5 years ago. Porter may be getting Matt Hardy next, unless Matt gets his wish and feuds with Edge. Melina is due to get one back from Candice and while this won't be the blow-off to the feud, I don't see Melina holding the title much longer.

Punk-Benoit figures to steal the show.

Cena out-Supermans Lindsey and everyone else to keep his title for yet another day in what will most likely be a total mess of a match.

Edge wins and removes Batista from the world title scene for a long time to come.

Benoit wins it what will possibly be match of the night.

Santino Marella somehow wins in another worst match of the night contender.

MVP retains his US title.

Cade and Murdoch win and cement their place as legit champs.

Jimmy Wang Yang wins the cruiserweight title and hopefully does something with it when he does.

Candice Michelle wins and finally takes the title from Melina.

Duece and Domino win against their mystery opponents.

WWE Championship
Champion John Cena vs. Mick Foley vs. King Booker with Queen Sharmell vs. Bobby Lashley vs. Randy Orton
WWE doesn’t seem to care that Cena has had the title for way too long. A five-way match seems like a good opportunity to take if off of him as he would likely not even lose the fall. *brings in a chalkboard* Looking at the other four, we can remove Foley because he’s not an active part of the roster and Lashley because any idiot should be able to see he can’t carry RAW and Cena can’t feud with a face over being cheated out of the title. This leaves us with Cena, Booker and Orton. If we assume that Orton is being built for Triple H, then the Game won’t want him to have a hot feud with Cena first. We therefore arrive at John Cena and King Booker. RAW needs a hot summer feud and the rapper vs. royalty should do the trick. Booker

World Heavyweight Championship - Last Chance Match
Champion Edge vs. Batista
Edge Usually the guy with his back against the wall wins these matches, but I don’t see that happening here. SmackDown doesn’t seem interested in giving the Animal the ball back. This opens things up for someone else and may give Batista a good story in the Royal Rumble.

For the Vacant ECW World Title
Chris Benoit vs. CM Punk
Benoit Punk might be ready for the TV Title, but he isn’t capable of carrying a brand. Even if it’s a brand that itself is carried by a whole other brand.

Intercontinental Championship
Champion Santino Marella vs. Umaga
Santino It pains me to pick him, but I don’t see Umaga winning he belt. Especially since he doesn’t seem to have Estrada to carry the belt around anymore.

United States Championship
Champion Montel Vontavious Porter vs. Ric Flair
MVP continues to build his reputation by beating the Nature Boy.

World Tag Team Championship
Champions Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch vs. The Hardys
Cade & Murdoch This ship sailed when Matt didn’t become a part of the RAW brand. The logic of his being a RAW champ and a SmackDown star was bad enough, let alone a rematch or another title reign.

Cruiserweight Championship
Champion Chavo Guerrero vs. Jimmy Wang Yang
Yang I guess.

Women's Championship
Champion Melina vs. Candice Michelle
Candice After all these months, the GoDaddy.com girl finally does it.

Open Challenge for the WWE Tag Team Championship
Champions Deuce & Domino with Cherry
Deuce & Domino The fact that they didn’t field an actual opponent for the current champions shows they don’t have plans to take the titles off of them. The belts will stay in the 1960s for now.

TWE Tag Team Championship
Spike Mcdougal & Majin Megabyte (C) vs. R. I. P. vs. The M and V Connection

Two Man Power Trip & The Headliners vs. The Pimps of Inferno & email2003 and redNinja84.

Two Man Power Trip and The Pimps of Inferno still feel they have unfinished business from their TWE tag team championship matches. Meanwhile email2003 and redNinja84 shocked the experienced Headliners squad when they threw them into the flames at One Night Stand. All four squads want revenge, but who will prevail in this contest?

Will Benoit/CM Punk be thrown out since Benoit has been replaced by Johnny Nitro?
I'm wondering the same thing, but I'm hoping they'll still give everyone that said Benoit credit for Nitro winning since Nitro was named as Benoit's replacement as Benoit was unable to make it back due to a family emergency. That makes me think they kept everything the asme as planned in advance except for the opponent.

Will Benoit/CM Punk be thrown out since Benoit has been replaced by Johnny Nitro?Whenever a match's make-up is changed during the PPV, the match is thrown out. We predicted Benoit-Punk, not Nitro-Punk. The PPV totals will now be out of 8.

Here are the TWE Tag Team Standings:
(C) Spike Mcdougal and Majin Megabyte 38/46
1) R. I. P.- bigddan11 and Deadman 37/46
2) The M and V Connection- VCXZX and Matt Hazuda 36/46
3) Two Man Power Trip- Kippy and The Penguin 34/46
3) Pimps of the Inferno- Punisher and Shakezola 34/46
5) email2003 and RedNinja84 31/46
5) The Headliners- Sub-Zero and PTurkey 31/46
7) Zero Signal and Jewelz 26/46

Majin Megabyte pinned Matt Hazuda to retain the TWE Tag Team Championships, but Kippy announced they would still be fighting R. I. P. for the title as they hadn't been pinned yet at the next PPV.

The four-way tag match never officially got started. The teams fought in the locker room slowly injuring each other until only TWE Commissioner Kippy was left standing. While refs revived the other warriors, Kippy announced Two Man Power Trip and The Pimps of Inferno would have a last man standingd match next PPV, and email2003 and RedNinja84 would face The Headliners in a lumberjack match next PPV.

I assumed the ECW title match still counted since it took place but just had a different wrestler.

6-2. Had the same problem as most of you, with the cruiser & women's title matches.

Nitro going over suggests some sort of backstage trade-off 'tween him & Skanklina. She drops the women's title, he gets to be a transitional ECW champ for as long as Benoit's away. Wouldn't be surprised still if they put Nitro in with the New Breed in short order or he turns face.

Why is Chavo still cruiser champ? Maybe they have something planned down the line involving his Aunt Vicki?

You're literally holding on to the titles by a thread. The last two months our tag squads have identical records, and Deadman and I have the tie breaker advantage, so get ready for a fight for yuor life this next PPV when R. I. P. finally claims the gold they deserve.

Five right out of either 7 or 8. Not sure if we're counting the ECW title match.

Five right out of either 7 or 8. Not sure if we're counting the ECW title match. We're not and there were nine total matches so your total is out of eight.

Bumping since we stil need to crown the singles champs. You don't need to do that. Kippy knows where to find it. He'll do it as soon as he can, it's not always done right away. He's awesome enough to do it, just be patient.

Thirty people made predictions for Vengeance, an increase of three from One Night Stand. Our overall prediction rate was 73%, a decrease of only six percentage points from One Night Stand.

---------------

He is the new Intercontinental Champion...

Red!! (88%)

Top Contenders
1. Deadman (87%)
2. Matt Hazuda (83%)
2. Ahiru-kun

8. Spike Mcdougal (78%)
8. Kippy
8. Sub-Zero

The is the third time Red has won the Intercontinental Championship. He last won the title at Unforgiven back in 2004. He narrowly defeated Deadman, who is now the sole number one contender.

---------------

He is still the World Heavyweight Champion...

Majin_Megabyte!!! (121)

Top Contenders (157)
1. Kippy (119)
1. Shakezola
3. Matt Hazuda (118)

Majin_Megabyte may have lost the Intercontinental Championship, but he still has the World Heavyweight Championship. Kippy, the previous number one contender for the title, is now tied with Shakezola for that ranking. Many competitors are within striking distance of the champion; who's going to walk out of the Great American Bash with the big belt?

Thanks again and be sure to return later this month to make your predictions for the Great American Bash!

The Intercontinental Title Champion is decided by a calculating who has the highest percentage of correct guesses over the three most recent pay-per-views. The Heavyweight Title score awards points for correct guesses (no penalty for wrong guesses) for the six most recent pay-per-views. The points system for the heavyweight title is weighted such that more recent pay-per-views are worth more points.
