It took at least a year for CN Japan to get the same city bumpers that America was using at the time. And I thought it would be cool to show people what some of the characters sound like in Japanese:

Frankie (http://youtube.com/watch?v=aeu-ak0sJbk)looks for a parking space (WARNING: a word that sounds like the N-word is used).

Those bumpers were pretty cool.

Camp Lazlo hasn't aired yet on CN Japan?

That was wacky!

What's truly weird is that I never saw the "Grocery Shopping" or "Frankie" bumps on American TV. Wonder what I was doing...:anime:

I've never seen the gracery store inside English. Also that is weird how they don't have Lazlo.

So are these bumpers dubbed, or are they CN Japan originals?

Either way, they were still pretty cool. Wish we had some like those nowadays.

They're dubbed. The bumpers have aired on CN US before.


I wonder how long it will take before Toonami Japan changes their look to ours.

I've never seen the gracery store inside English. Also that is weird how they don't have Lazlo.
They were made when the channel first got the look aka summer 04....before Lazlo. ;)

Yep. They also don't have Time Squad, Sheep in the Big City, Whatever Happened to Robot Jones.....
