Ed, Edd and Eddy can't seem to stay out of trouble. Cartoon Network Enterprises, the global licensing and merchandising arm of the network, has awarded D3Publisher of America, Inc. (D3PA), a leading publisher and developer of interactive entertainment software, the handheld gaming rights to the original series Ed, Edd n Eddy. Building off of a successful franchise, fans of the hit Cartoon Network series get the chance to help the Eds tackle their latest predicament when Eddy's "Who to Scam and When" book is lost and read by an angry mob of kids. The interactive video game Ed, Edd n Eddy: Scam of the Century is scheduled for release this fall for Nintendo DS™.

"D3PA is a proven leader and partner in interactive gaming and we are fortunate to be working with them again on another high-profile Cartoon Network release," said Christina Miller, vice president of U.S. consumer products for Cartoon Network Enterprises. "We are also excited to offer fans of the show a truly unique way to interact with the Ed, Edd n Eddy brand."
"D3PA is thrilled to create a brand new game based on Ed, Edd n Eddy, the longest-running and most successful of Cartoon Network's franchises," said Alison Quirion, vice president of marketing, D3PA. "The rich character profiles and story elements from the show will be authentically portrayed in Ed, Ed n Eddy: Scam of the Century, ensuring that the game will be an immersive experience in to the Eds' world and a must-have for fans this fall."

Ed, Edd n Eddy, an original, half-hour series from creator and executive producer Danny Antonucci, tells the story of three best friends who band together to tackle one of life's most daunting challenges-puberty. Though they have the same first name and live on the same cul-de-sac in the suburbs, the three boys' personalities are as different as they are ridiculous. They're genuinely confused by the world, but they're too cool to admit it. Bolstered by the power of adolescent ignorance, they plunge headlong into outlandish summertime adventures that would be unbelievable if they weren't so close to the reality of every kid's life. Ed, Edd n Eddy airs Monday through Friday at 9:30 a.m. (ET/PT) on Cartoon Network.

Ed, Edd n Eddy: Scam of the Century for Nintendo DS features an original storyline developed around Eddy losing his precious "Who to Scam and When" book. When the three friends realize their classmate Kevin has the book in his hands and an angry mob of kids has developed, they run for the woods. Splitting up to throw off the crowd, they plan to meet up back at the cul-de-sac. What they do not know is that several adventures await them on their quest home. Players take control of the Eds and must make their way through tricks, traps, angry kids and a barrage of ammunition including soap and broccoli. Ed, Edd and Eddy finally make their way back to the cul-de-sac only to find the ultimate obstacle before them: Rolf has built a giant fort to keep the Eds out forever! Each Ed must use his own special talent to smash, brainstorm or scam his way inside. Once inside the fort, the Eds regroup to reclaim Eddy's scam book. But standing in their way is none other than The Masked Melonhead Avenger and Splinter-The Wonderwood. Let the final showdown begin!

Ed, Edd n Eddy: Scam of the Century interactive video game features 13 total stages, special attacks using the touch screen, the option to blow into the microphone to bring characters back to life, three side story mini-games and more wacky special items. They also mention the Ben 10 game at the end of the article:
Cartoon Network has a strong partnership with D3PA which has also produced Ben 10: Protector of Earth, the interactive game based on the hit original series, Ben 10, scheduled for release this fall.Thoughts?

Sounds generic.

Yeah, though I like the idea of Jonny and Plank as superheroes.

I think they revealed a little too much ot the plot. Ah well, the plot makes the game seem better than the Eds last adventures in video games..

Kankers will be so the last boss because they always are. The game sounds cool I dont see why they dont use this kind of plot for a movie:sweat:

Actually I think always using the Kankers at the end of everything has gotten really stale. Heck, it was stale by the end of the first season. From the description the final boss sounds like it'll be Jonny and Plank.

I really didn't like the other Ed, Edd And Eddy games, but I think I'll give this one a shot.
