The Tsunami episode hasn't aired yet. I understand it got taken off because of the tsunami happening, but it's been long enough by now.

My question is that is CN ever planning on airing it?

I really doubt it. Even if time has passed and airing the Tsunade episode is deemed okay without seeming offensive, Cartoon Network has no interest in airing the show at all anymore. It failed in the ratings and was cancelled and is pretty much over to CN, and they're not bothering dealing anything over and unprofitable like Puffy. Sorry Cloud. If you're lucky maybe at one point there will be enough interest for them to make a DVD and the episode will be on that, but even that will probably take awhile to produce/come out.

Ahhh, oh well. Thanks for the answer. I'll keep my eyes out for a DVD then.

Let's convince Warner Bros. to team up with Shout Factory to release such a DVD - of the Complete Series, and then some! And by "And then some," I mean the final five episodes that haven't aired! Besides, if they were airing again, there would be a Puffy AmiYumi tour in America again, and if people didn't show up, they'll end up realizing that they're finished in America.

But for the record, the Class of 3000 CD - "Music from the First Season" is coming out on July 3rd. Maybe I'll get it, if I feel like it.

If I wasn't mistaken was there like five other episodes that were never played in America?

Clearly right. I DID say "Final Five episodes that haven't aired," after all.

i heard somewhere they did air the tsunami episode but under an alternate name (the episode was called "tsunami yumi" and the alternate name was something along the lines of "surf's up" or something)

Two DVDs from the series were released in 2005.

Apparently they didn't sell very well since we never got any more DVDs.

So the chances of seeing more episodes on TV or DVD doesn't look very promising.

Does this mean that Cartoon Network's gonna burn all the footage of the show in an incinerator, and make sure everybody forgets about Puffy AmiYumi, so that the real Ami & Yumi can go back to their busy lives in Japan?

Yes. That's exactly what it means. Cartoon Network's elite team of brain surgeons should be over in a couple of days to take care of your lobotomy.

Because they'd make it better, or something like that.

All possible sarcasm (and there's plenty of it) aside, that really does make absolutely no sense. Time Warner is as capable, if not multiple times more capable, of producing and distributing DVDs than a licensing outfit like Shout Factory is.

Seriously. Makes no sense. Stop it.
