Dragon Up!

School's out for Summer...
and usually when summer comes along most kids go to summer camp to tell 'Ghost stories' over a roaring campfire.

But when you are an American Dragon and a camp counselor, and are sent off to summer camp, usually the 'Ghost stories' that are told,
could turn out to be very real indeed!

School's out for Summer!

Yes Folks, School's out for Summer for American Dragon, Jake Long, Trixie Carter, and Arthur Spudinski, and what better way to have fun, is to go off to Summer camp.

But Jake's taking his little sister, Halley along, because she's one of the happy campers... and Jake, Spud, and Trixie are going to be some of the camp counselors.

Pretty easy summer job for a Teenage Dragon, Right?

Wrong...

For you see Camp Mugwump is haunted...

wait you think I'm telling you a "Ghost Story..".

Nope.. Camp Mugwump is really haunted.. With Real Ghosts.

So who you gonna call?

American Dragon: Jake Long, that's who!

So when you take Jake and his competitive self, as well as his sister, and a pack of Ghosts, what more can I say then this is going to be

'A Ghost story'

All of them (As well as us), will never forget!

Synopsis:

A Ghost Story -- (219):
When Jake, Trixie and Spud become junior counselors at "Camp Mugwump", Jake relives old camp game rivalries with Brad Morton. Meanwhile, a vengeful group of ghosts plan to take revenge on the living occupants of Camp Mugwump. Can Jake, Spud and Trixie become their version of "Ghostbusters" or are the campers really going to get scared with all those ghosts running around? Stay tuned because before it's over, the Marshmellows are gonna fly!)

Notes:

It's Summertime, summertime, sum-sum-summertime!: What a better way to take a break from school and hit the woodland camps.. Complete with Bears, Skunks, and the proverbial Case of Poison Ivy, Oak, or Sumac (Break out the Calamine Lotion!)

Better then a 'Jason' Movie!: Let's face it Jason (From Camp Crystal Lake), and Gill Moss (From Camp Wannaweep) will have nothing on this band of Ghosties, who haunt Camp Mugwump. and speaking of which:

Jake vs Brad: The plot thickens. Let's face it Jake's been the low man on the Mugwump totem pole as Brad Morton has put him down a lot. Now Brad and Jake Square off as Junior Camp Counselors to encourage their campers to the ultimate prize.. the Mugwump Trophy...

Who you gonna call? Send in the Ghosts! Enough spooks to fill the Haunted Mansion at Disneyland. And to think no proton packs or traps around! so what are you going to do is more the question... Two words.. Run Away!

Repeats:

If you miss tonight's Episode at 9:30 PM Eastern/Pacific*, 8:30 PM Central. Don't worry, they'll be multiple hauntings as we have repeats of this spooky story... All times shown are Eastern Pacific, One hour earlier for Central. But be sure you check those listings so you won't get 'Spooked' into missing it...

Saturday June 30th, 2007: 3:30PM*

Okay I'm done, time to pass the Marshmellows, and Sing Kum-by-yah...
*Scratches arm* oh, and someone please pass the mosquitto repellent.. these bugs are nasty!

I saw this episode a while back. And let me make a correction, as I noticed the same mistake in the episode from Zap 2 It and even Disney Channel's website.

It says Haley will be in this episode. Haley is not in this episode, she has nothing to do with the plot.

You don't need a talkback image for Disney shows, Tuscon set it up the right way.

Anyways.. I'll give this episode a look. Might be interesting.

First of all Cloud, thank you for that, and yes I did set it up (After all my Talkbacks are like Nana Possible's Lemon Squares, They're to Die for! :D :p

Also yeah take a look as this seems to be an episode where we might see.
Brad actually not pick on Jake after Jake Saves Brad from the Ghosts (Maybe?) At least that's what I'm thinking.

Well don't forget tomorrow night (Sunday) we got another Jake Long Episode (Bite Father, Bite Son), and a New KP Episode (Mather and Fervant) And believe me I'll be busy tonight.

That wasn't that great of an episode. Pretty standard, it could have been better.

Of course you know what is doubly ironic? Requesting for a Logo for a show that will have no more Talkbacks by This August...but Still I think this will be an Interesting Episode.

I agree!

Anyways, this episode is turning out to be slightly cliche.

Ok, I take that back.. this episode is getting pretty good. Thanks, Trixie for saving it for me!

Now that is has aired in the east, here is my review. I thought was filler episode, nothing spetaculer. The ghosts were lame villains, they reminded me of the ghosts on Scobby Doo.

The next episode "Bite Father Bite Son" is probably better. I can't wait till the Dark Dragon returns. Get all these filler out of the way, before we get back to some real action with a real threat like the Dark Dragon.

Jake and Brad have a great rivalry between each other that could become greater. I love the summer episodes since it shows Jake and the crew in more casual settings.

Well it is no Kim / Bonnie rivalory on KP. I don't consider Brad a serious threat, nor believe he could win fair and square like I do with Bonnie.

Since I recorded it, I lost the last couple of minutes(Curse you, DC Games! CURSE YOU!!!), but from what I've seen, average run-of-the-mill, but still a fun episode. Can't wait for tonights.

BTW, did noone care that Spud was in a tutu?

It doesn't matter what Spud wears anymore. It's part of his character.

This episode was really boring. Probably my least favorite season 2 episode. The plot was incredibly unoriginal and predictable, and the ghosts really had no place in the episode until the very end to be used for a so-so action sequence.

At least cross-dressing Spud was funny.

I agree... a by-the-numbers story with just enough twists to make it watchable. Most notable of all, Spud's 'lost and found' wardrobe - great for a few chuckles! But also, Jake almost going so far as to repeat his mistakes at his Mugwomp Cup, but to be straightened out by Trixie just in time.

But otherwise, nothing much to note about this episode.

"A Ghost Story": 3/5.

I know it is another network, but still would have been cool and appropriate if Danny Phantom showed up to help stop the ghosts, after all that is his field.

True. Leave the ghosthunting to the Ghost Boy!
