Gordon Bombay is a former Pee Wee Hockey player who has become one of the best attorney's around. When he gets pulled over for reckless endangerment, driving while intoxicated, and a slew of other things though, he must put back on his old skates and teach the District 5 Hockey Team to trust in themselves. The only problem is he now hates hockey. Watch as these Ducks take to the ice and try to prove that everyone can be a winner if you have the right attitude. Sit back and discuss the CN Movie Premiere of The Mighty Ducks.

Next Friday @ 7:30 PM- School of Rock takes the CN Friday movie spotlight.

There's been lots of views but no comments on the movie.

I'll be honest. I've always loved The Mighty Ducks. I didn't watch it on CN, but I own the VHS and can watch it any time. I love how Bombay goes from a hot shot attorney only to become a hockey coach and then a minor leaguer in hockey. The second one is my favorite in the series. With all that being said though, I don't think this should ahve aired on CN, and if they were going to insist on airing this particular movie, then why not do so when the season is actually applicable, around Christmas, or even November, January, or February. CN airing this movie at this time fills out of place in more than one way.

Yeah, this post title sums up the whole movie and the franchise... no wonder Isner gave up the team to the NHL and rebranded them to The Anihiem Ducks back in '04/'05...

I will give this a rating though, since well, i have nothing else to do...

"Walt Disney Pictures Presents: The Mighty Ducks" 3/5 for a great classic.

PS: Thanks for posting the DVD cover...

Good movie, but it would have been FAR more acceptable had CN also aquired the rights to air the Mighty Ducks animated series and aired an episode or two after the movie to tie it in.
