Going for 'The Great Brain Robbery' with 'Flash and Substance' in second place.

I chose "Alive".The plot and the action was just great with a cool twist at the end.

Hmm, not a very strong season, is it? I think this one may be the worst of the lot. Still, I enjoyed the Hawkman episodes, the Flash episodes and the two part finale. But there are a few stinkers... Gonna go with "Ancient History", because of the intensity of the action and drama, despite the fact that DR Movie didn't try very hard with this one compared to their other efforts. "Flash and Substance" is a very close second, but the plot is too familiar for my tastes.

I have to disagree. I'd say there are maybe three weak efforts from this season...

"Chaos at the Earth's Core" is trying to cram too much backstory into a short time frame to make it truly intriguing, "Far From Home" is a little too trite for it's own good and "Patriot Games" is an editing mess.

...but I thought the rest of season had solid story lines (the two Flash spotlight episodes were nearly perfect), fair-to-excellent animation ("Shadow of the Hawk" and in particular "Grudge Match" are beautiful), and reached some new heights of thematic drama ("Ancient History" anyone?).

There have been much worse 13 episode stretches over the extended run of DCAU than this one.

I meant out of the five rounds we've had, not the whole of the DCAU. You've raised some nice points, though, that make me think twice about it.

Season 1 of JL was actually one of the weak points I had in mind.

Out of that lot, I picked "Destroyer". JLU in general was too crowded for me (I would've enjoyed JLU a lot more if the writers didn't expand the League's roster into an overpopulated army, but I digress), but that finale was the perfect way to cap off the series. Highlights: Supes whaling on Darkseid and J'onn's return (He was my favorite Leaguer, and I missed his presence). The cast's final run down the stairs into action was IMHO one of the single greatest animated moments I've ever witnessed. I actually got a lump in my throat the second time I saw it.

I also voted for "Destroyer". My only complaint about the episode is the fact that some of the scenes were clearly edited for time.

Dont agree with you on that one buddie. JL season 1 was the weakest for sure. This one would come in 2nd. JLU season 3 contains way more better episodes that JL season 1. Plus despite of Patriots Act being the worst ever (to me, of course), JL season 1 contains much more stinkers than that one. Althou not THAT bad (ok , maybe War World! :D ).

Oh, and my vote goes to Destroyer but only because its the series finale and brought back the tension, drama and action fights from JLU season 2. As a series finale it didnt delivered as much as I expected.

I think this is one of the weakest seasons. I didn't like it most of the episodes namely Chaos at Earth's Core and To Another Shore.

I liked Grudge Match but I think the plot idea for the female fight to be a bit lame.

But the finale is awesome. I would work better if it was longer, maybe a 3 parter. The final scene when Batman and Superman talk to each other and they end running down the stairs is very touching. The perfect end for the awsome work Bruce Timm did with the DC Animated Universe. So my vote is for Destroyer.
