Hey everyone,
Well, amazingly, I reached my 1000th post on this new incarnation of the board. Instaed of doing some lame "I reach post #1000" post, I figured I'd do something a little nostalgic. I'm posting my millenium post on this board becuase even though these board started out with one Superman board, it was really this board, and Batman, that influenced me to put up these boards. Why? Becuase it was Batman, and the much missed Bat-Toon BoardBat-Toon Board[/b] that influenced me to put up a Superman board, then a week later put up a Batman & Batman Beyond Board.
So technically, I can go over to the Ani/Gen Board and post this there, since the Ani/Gen Board was originally the Superman Board, but it feels right to post it here, becuase it belongs here. Anyways, I've reached this post for one simple reason: I have fun here. I'm sure everyone can agree that these boards are pretty fun, and it's easy to get sucked in and just post repeatedly. While some may thing that I (and some others) may post too much, or be boardhogs, but I think that's just bunk. I post here alot becuase I enjoy the place. Simple as that. Where I am, there's not too many people as interested in animation & comics as I. Even my best friends don't share this interest.
That's why this place is great.
Anyways, I still can't believe how long this board has been around and the history. There are so many veterans from the www.insidetheweb.com and www.boardhost.com days that it makes me glad I put these up. People stick around through the thick and thin here, and that makes this all the more worth it. Plus the newbies that keep coming in. So many come in that I lose count after awhile. And I hope they decide to stick around after the boards go through their next change this fall when this board will be soley for JL, and all Batman/Superman topics will join the Batman Beyond Board. As of now this is the only JL Board online, and I hope it remains a regarded and popular one.
Anyways, I hope I'm the first of many, many, many, many posters to hit the 1K mark. This alone will show and prove the versatility and impact these boards have on fans. So, I end this post now.
