Much to my dismay I missed this one-shot, and ever since I've been desperately wanting to read it. I have heard that it sold rather well, and considering the popularity of Gotham Girls (and the mini-series on the way), do you ever think it will get reprinted?
I certainly hope so, I've read the famous page with Harl and Batgirl's discussion and it's hilarious!
Maybe if it came as an extra in a TPB or something... When (if) Gotham Girls goes into a TPB, maybe it could be put with it...does anyone see this happening?

It won't be reprinted but likely resolicitated to coincide with the upcoming GOTHAM GIRLS. I suggest ya stay tuned to PREVIEWS magazine and the monthly soliciations. I bet that DC will resolicit the issue.

Ahh...
Thankyou, Jim!
Maybe it's just me, I might not understand properly...but what is the point in DC giving a preview of it if it isn't in shops?

PREVIEWS is a magazine which features comics shipping information on books that are set to go onsale months in advance, and this includes resolicitated issues. DC resolicitates trade paperbacks and one shots all the time, even if the back issues of said items are still in comic shops.

Hmm maybe it's the different types of words we use here in Australia..because I'm still not quite following. I thought that solicitations are just preview-advertisements to upcoming releases. So, do you mean that DC has more in their factory and they will send more out to shops (rather than reprint), and release a paragraph about it...is that a solicitation? Or is it just the paragraph, even though there are none in stores?
Sorry for the confusion!

I'm not really sure what you're getting at either, but I'll try and make it straight. RESOLICIATION is when DC will set a date where retailers can order a new batch of a previously released tradepaperback, one-shot, special book, etc...when the book has been out of print. It is usually done to coincide with a special event DC is having. Batgirl Adventures will likely be resoliciated becuase it's been out of print for awhile, but there still are copies at the various DC warehouses. You could probably ask the guy at your comic shop right now if he could order you a copy of the book becuase there are copies still likely available at various DC warehouses.

Aha! I get you now! Awesome, so this finally means I'll be able to get this issue...if I hassle my store enough ;)
Thankyou!
