I love Ghostbusters as much as the next guy but these threads got to stop.

Remember Extreme Ghostbusters?

You missed it. Nobody watched. And the franchise is dormant for the time being. Unless they finally decide to make Ghostbusters 3 or they reboot the franchise from scratch, we won't see a new Ghostbusters series in a long, long time.

I miss EGB sooooo much! It was made by the same people who made MIB and while we didn't get MIB in our area--- I found EGB to be pretty enjoyable. They had a lot of weird plots-- but the 2 part episode that brought back the original GB was so cool!

Yep. Adelaide (Sony's animation arm) produced Extreme Ghostbusters, which came out around the same time as their CGI Starship Troopers series. Egon & Janine were a couple in this series, shepherding a new team of GB's. Never saw the two teams team up, though. Is it out on DVD?

The teams teamed up in a two parter where they destroyed an entity that was in fact the Bermuda Triangle after inveloping most of Manhattan.

If I'm not mistaken, it was originally intended as the series finale, but managed to air two episodes early.
