What are some trademark elements (ie, it appears in every film) of certain film franchises? Some examples would be:
The "in a galaxy far far away"/scrolling story summary in star wars
The James Bond opening sequences (bond shooting at the camera/shilloutes <sp?> of naked women over the title song)
Bruce Campbell having cameos in all the spider man films (i still dont know what his association with spider man is though, anyone know?)
Stan Lee having cameos in (most of) the films based on marvel comics
The scrolling "rocky" titles and the opening notes of "gonna fly now" in the rocky series (though i havent seen rocky balboa yet so i dont know if its in there)
Clark Kent changing into superman and the camera zooms in on the big "S" on supermans chest (they did alter that slightly in superman returns but it was done the same way) in the superman series
I know there are others, anyone know of any?

His association? Sam Raimi. They've been friends for years and grew up making Hi-8 movies together. :) He has a cameo in a lot of Raimi's movies.

A female finding out the Bruce Wayne is Batman. :(
Vicki Vale in BATMAN.
Catwoman in BATMAN RETURNS.
Dr. Chase in BATMAN FOREVER.
Barbara in BATMAN AND ROBIN.
Rachael in BATMAN BEGINS.
I hope no female or anyone else finds out the secret in THE DARK KNIGHT.

Alfred Hitchcock's cameos.
There is a love interest in 99% of all films because audiences apparently can't connect to the story any other way.
The X-Men "vault" opening. (Which was altered for the third movie to my disapproval)
"I have a bad feeling about this" in Star Wars.

Lethal Weapon series - "I'm too old for this ****."
Die Hard series - "Yippey-kyay, mother******."
:D
Oh, and don't nearly all of Spielberg's movies contain a shot of the character(s) traveling/walking/flying/etc. off into the sun?

Spielberg is famous for an elaborate opening; D-Day in Private Ryan, the "Let's go swimming" sequence in Jaws, E.T. being chased through the woods, the rolling rock set piece in Raiders, the club Obi-Wan shootout in Temple of Doom, etc.

The Spider-Man movies have a lot of trademarks:
- Since the second movie, a recap of the previous movies with no audiable dialogue.
- Mary-Jane gets kidnapped by the main villian.
- Spider-Man's identity gets discovered by a villian.
- Heart-to-heart dialogue between Spidey and a villian.
- A villian dies.
Most of the recent Marvel movies have a "DNA" opening credits. Daredevil's was a cityscape variant of the DNA credits.

We'll have to see if that one still holds true after the PG-13 "Live Free or Die Hard"........

The X-Men "vault" opening. (Which was altered for the third movie to my disapproval) The X-Men movies also keep the "X" in the Fox logo lit a little longer than the other letters when the screen fades to black. Very cool.

I think all the Superman movies end with him flying in space.

The 'Back To The Future' trilogy has some trademarks of it's own. Particularly when Marty wakes up to see him mom in some incarnation awkwardly, as well as Biff expressing his hatered for manure whenever he runs into a big pile of it.

All of them, correct? Like the 73 Olds?

PG-13? You've got to be ****in' kiddin' me.
"I'm too old for this ****."
Wrong franchise, but it might as well apply.
Rachael in BATMAN BEGINS.
At least he TOLD her. Did Chase find out? I wasn't sure.
I believe that all of the Friday the 13th movies have someone yelling "Hey! *******!" at Jason. And the Alien films all had chest busters.

He actually wasn't in For Love of the Game, A Simple Plane, or The Gift, and his cameo in The Quick and The Dead wound up on the cutting room floor. (I just realized, too, looking at IMDb that Raimi's only directed 12 feature films in the last 26 years. I thought there were more than that, but some of the movies I thought he had directed he had just produced.)

That was one of very few bad parts of Batman Begins. Totally unnecessary, especially now we know her character is returning for TDK.

Of course, three of those "Hi-8 movies" are three of the most amazing B-movies ever made.
