What the heck is wrong with Teri? Could she have internal bleeding? My head is spinning from this week's show! On the plus side, I was able to cinvince a friend to watch who is now completely hooked. I got him caught up during commercial breaks and he's addicted. When you think of it, the show is remarkably easy to catch up on. And you'll be happy to know that the ratings for 24 are improving evermore! The audience has been steadily catching on (finally) to arguably the best show of the season.
The clips from next week are just blowing my mind...a conspiracy behind the Palmer campaign! That buddy (Rick I think) is helping Tery and her daughter! This is getting sweet! And we have 11 episodes in a row!! YEAH!

The scene where he was racing down the stairs and then in the limo was really cool looking. This new chick looks like she's gonna be trouble for Jack.
this show just keeps me guessing. I'm thinking that Jack still doesn't really know who his friends are. Walsh trusting Jamie and then her being the traitor is still messing with me. Could Walsh be in on it and his death faked? I dunno, but something is up. Why did she turn out to be the only one he really couldn't trust?
I'm wondering about Teri also. Since it wasn't a forced thing I wonder if her encounter with the kidnapper does have anything to do with. Maybe it's just an appendecitous or something.
Cool to see the insight on this thing being personal. I could see them being related to the guy that Palmer's son killed, but that doesn't explain why they're mad at Jack. Then the time that Jack busted all the agents wouldn't explain why they're mad at Palmer. Curiouser and curiouser.
Yeah, I got my wife caught up yesterday, also. And you're right there's just few important points you need to tell people.
I'm still thinking this Walsh thing is gonna come back and bite Jack in the butt. Is there anyway to find out if the guy that plays him is in the cast list for later episodes?

I'm not so sure about Walsh. I think he really is dead. But I'm starting to get that paranoia sense also, as to who to trust. I'm pretty sure Nina is in the clear, but I'm still iffy on Tony and that hacker kid.
The sequence in the staircase was great, and Jack's move to bust the fire alarm was a smart idea - very smart.
As for Teri, there's a slight chance the guy was really, really rough with her that may have caused some tearing, but we heard only the sounds of the bed squeaks last week. Ya gotta admit, though. she's a helluva Mon for doing that.
I don't think I'll ever tire of this show. It's shame it'll likely be a one season show, unless FOX will let the hype from this season build up tot he next season, and the ratings will shoot up. Guarenteed.

Yeah, this show is all about paranoia.
I thought the same thing about the fire alarm. I even said it to my wife. I don't know if she's hooked or not. I'm kinda glad she missed last week considering what happened then. Maybe the guy was rough. He looks like a big, dumb brute anyway.

The writers are pulling out all the stops. I think this will make aperfect DVD release - which I hope FOX does even if the show lasts one season (there's a chance FOX wil pick it up- given it's GOLDEN GLOBE attention and win, as well as the pick up in ratings). The show continues to surprise, an dnot many shows can do that. The characters are smart, they use their brains, and get into some tight binds. We don't have acast of idiots running around screaming "what do we do! Ah!". We have a cast running around getting things done. And Keifer Sutherland is doing a bang up job. This may be his best performance EVER.

Loved the episode for all the reasons already said! Add to that the the neat hip-hop beat played throughout. My opinion on Walsh: He trusted Jamie just like Bauer trusted Nina at the beginning. Maybe both relationships were similar(affair)? Wheras Bauer's faith in Nina was well founded, Walsh's was not. Thats my guess.
Still, one big nitpick: The end cliffhanger from the last episode had Gaines calling to CTU; what happened to that?

I looked into that on the website, and it looks like they just let it ring. They probably knew it was Gaines and couldn't risk to answer it (although they could have easily put up a cover sday Jamey's busy at the moment). My guess is that they let it right, and tired to revive Jamey instead of answer the phone.

I liked it but something's been nagging me since a few eps. ago.
What about the key card thing it could be the key to this whole thing is it still lying on the floor in Jack's office or what??
As for the new Boss she's going to screw everything up!
Why doesn't that bald guy from the 1st ep. return to run things, at least I trust him, more than that lady.
And what on earth is wrong with Terri??
One other thing what if the lawyer guy that Jack kiddnapped doesn't have any thing to do with Gaines?
Man this show is adicctive.

The suspense is killing me!!! A few eps ago, i had no idea how they would have enough surprises left for the remaining 15 or so eps. But i guess they'll be more than okay if they keep throwing us stuff like this!

The series has done a good job on just throwing surprise after surprise at us. I have yet to be dissapointed in this series, which is almost unhear dof 11 episodes into the series. This may actually turn out to be the perfect series, with no flaws.
And I think the new boss is gonna be a hard-arse, but I also think she's legit.

i really don't think there will be a second season, at least not with the same characters. i have heard the Sutherland is now a sought after actor because of his performance in 24 which means that he probably return to the movies and does not have enough time to do a second season. if he leaves, they would need to come up with a new premise and introduce new characters. the downside would be that the audience would need to get used to the new characters. the good side is that the audience would not have a clue at which angle the people or playing.

The second season would have to be completely different, although it could work with the same staff. The situation couldn't be exactly the same, but they could still have to pull an "all nighter". But the show would have to come back if Keifer does. I can't see this show without him.
I wonder - will Teri's call to Jack, and the relevation of it to that thug, cause problems?
