It's just the end of the animated-style Superman Adventures comic.

Well, I guess I'll jumpstart the talks on it. The final issue ended...good. It was a bit crowded, and was actually along read. It took me a good 20 - 25 minutes to read the baby. I savoring eveyr page and just enjoying it. The art, but Aluir, was nice as always. I was glad to see him ending the title - gives the book some sense of consistancy. It bites that the book is over. I won't be picking up issue #67 next month, but I'm glad it ended now before it got really horrible and messed up. Another year or two and this title would have been a mess.

The upside is that this isn't the last of Aluir Almancio's work that we'll be seeing. He's slated to do a mainstream Superman project. Also, an unpublished story of Superman Adventures will find a new home in Justice League Adventures sometime during the second half of the first dozen issues, tentivaly.

I liked the "anti-heat vision goggles". I'm surprised no one thought of that before. And I liked the art too - very Kirbyesque.

YAY!!! Aluir's art is very awesome (I'm saying awesome a lot today!) and I look forward to seeing more of it. But, how can they work in a Superman Adventures story in JLA? Will Aluir be doing the art chores on that issue? I really hope so. His group shot of the JLU in #64 gave me complete confidance that he could easily draw some seriously awesome issues of JLA.

Aluir said, in an interview awhile back, the one of the stories set to be in SUPERMAN ADVENTURES before the axe dropped will just be shuffled over to JL ADVENTURES. I assume the art will likely be tweaked, or it'll be a "flashback" tale. But it will be appearing in Justice League Adventures sometime in the future. And Aluir will be doing the art.
