The homepage and navigation of DC Comics's official website, dccomics.com, has been redesigned. The new version of the site went live last Thursday, January 31.
"We're very excited about the fresh look we've created," says Richard Bruning, DC's VP - Creative Director. "The site now has a new, cleaner structure that provides greater ease of use, more visual cues to features, and a crisp, modern look. We have more plans in the works for our site, with improvements coming on an almost constant basis. People will want to check in often to enjoy what's going here."
Visitors to the site will be greeted with new DC Comics character splash images, featured titles on sale that week, and a selection of banners highlighting imprints DC Comics, VERTIGO, WildStorm, DC Direct, Paradox Press, and MAD Magazine.
"This new look will lead consumers to all our great new features, including free e-comics, minisites, games and more," says Matt Keller, Manager - Marketing Services.
The overhaul of the site continues, with the VERTIGO and Secret Files pages slated to be revitalized in the next few weeks.
