As the WWE rolls to Judgment Day, this will be some Superstars' last chance to make an impact. Edge will look to make one as he leaves RAW as SmackDown's World Heavyweight Champion.

May 14, 2007

One week after he tore Mr. McMahon's Executive Assistant limb from limb, Bobby Lashley will get another crack at Jonathan Coachman...this time in a sanctioned match Monday night on Raw. Will we see a repeat beating when these two square off one-on-one? Or will Coachman somehow manage to hold his own against the mountainous Lashley?

Also, the new World Heavyweight Champion, Edge, will be at Raw to say goodbye. There's no doubt the Rated-R Superstar will be gloating as he makes his final Raw appearance before heading to SmackDown.

WWE Champion John Cena has a tall mountain to climb as Raw heads to its final stop before Judgment Day.

One would assume Cena will be looking for The Great Khali, the No. 1 contender, who stole the title and walked out of Raw last week after leveling The Champ with his own gold. Can Cena gain any momentum against the monstrous Khali heading into their one-on-one encounter?

Carlito called out Ric Flair on Raw last week, but as first reported by WWE.com, Flair was not in the arena. Will "Nature Boy" have anything to say this week in response to Carlito’s words and his treatment of Raw beauty Torrie Wilson?

Find out all this and more on Raw, Monday night at 9/8 CT on USA Network.

A few weeks ago, I said what they needed to do with Gorilla Santino (give him convincing wins and a finisher, even if only over Heat talent), and what they would probably do (fluke roll-up pins).

Seems I was right. How in the world do they think this makes anyone look good?

I think Lawler is actually heel again which is refreshing in a way.

So why did Edge get pinned by HBK? Not a good way to end a great RAW run. And not a great way to job your World title holder to someone who won't be on the same brand. And clean I may add too. http://209.85.12.231/html/emoticons/dry.gif http://209.85.12.231/html/emoticons/dry.gif

Overall, a so-so raw.

I won't mind this feud with Khali if we see more of super serious Cena. Now all Khali needs to say is, "I must break you."

Ashley was a bust, and now it seems they're trying to put Candice in the top face Diva position.

You know, Vince sure does get around pretty well for someone in his sixties.

I'm not that surprised about Edge losing since it was his last match on Raw, but I'm confused. If Edge winning the World Title automatically drafts him to Smackdown, what's Matt Hardy's story?

Bad, lousy, lazy, lazy, LAZY writing.

Randy Orton: OMG SHAWN I KEN B33t u!!1
Shawn Michaels: k

Seconds later, the match is made. No invoking of the MONTHS of backstory with DX/RKO and the later involvement with the two regarding Cena's title, it's just Randy going "I KEN B33t u!!1" and that's it.

The only two plus sides to last night's RAW: King as a heel again (leave the one-sided, all-face commentary to TNA, thank you) and Shane McMahon, once again proving that just because you are a top-level executive doesn't mean you can't do something fun every once in a while, like diving head first into a limo through the sunroof.

Alas, Judgment Day looks like it's gonna be a pretty formulaic event; nothing too exciting.
