Art of Fighting Anthology

Huh, just found about this today. Apparently Art of Fighting 1-3 will be released in an anthology, much like Street Fighter Alpha and the Mega Man collections. You know, Art of Fighting. The fighting series with the "zoom in and out" gimmick.

It's slated for PS2 on 5/31 and later for Wii and PSP.

FIXED. Well, -both- would be quite nice. But given that the KOF series has survived and remained somewhat popular while Last Blade hasn't made a new game since 1998, I would think SNK/Playmore would give KOF the higher priority when it comes to compilations.

Hm... Art of Fighting wasn't THAT good. But it is nice to see that it's getting an anthology in its name.

I'd much rather see a King of Fighters anthology, too. Art of Fighting one just isn't very good and the ones after that, though better, aren't great.

One thing I did find kind of cool about AOF was how the characters took visible damage the more they were hit. Seeing a character with a black and blue eye and puffy cheeks with little health left was neat, if only yet another visual gimmick.

Actualy they got bruised and blodied if they take more than 4 hits to the face, what really happens when their health is low is that they get a new idle stance(tired, hands barely up, gasping etc):D

I'm hoping for World Heroes, SamSho, and KoF Anthologies... one with 3 Count Bout on it would be nice too. Having only playing AoF 1, I'm looking forward to this so I can play the other installments.

I found this out not too long ago on ign.com myself. I WILL get this set!:)

I can't wait to see King again! She didn't look too bad, even if she chooses to wear guy's clothes.;)

I also hope we get Anthology sets of World Heroes & KOF in the near future.
