The Great Race

Hi Folks!

I'm considering producing an one hour episode of ToonHeads entitled, "The Great Race."

I would show all three Bugs vs Cecil cartoons, but I'm still open to suggestions for the other two cartoons.

"The Wild Chase" might be one of the other two...

Sugestions?

"The Wild Chase" would be a great choice!! (A shame that Art Davis never did a version of Bugs vs. Cecil Turtle though!!)

The Million-Hare (1963) with Bugs and Daffy and Porky's Naughty Nephew (1938) are two other cartoons with racing themes in them.

There are a few non-WB toon Cartoon Network has the right to that you can use:

Mutts About Racing (MGM - 1957) with Droopy and Spike

Onion Pacific (Fleischer - 1940) with Popeye

Double-Cross Country Race (Famous - 1950) with Popeye

There's also "A Squeak in the Deep" (WB), where Daffy Duck and Speedy Gonzales boat race.

There's also "Porky's Road Race", "Hippydrom Tiger", "Porky's Naughty Nephew", and "Alpine Antics". But show the Speedy cartoon!

Show "The Wild Chase!" It's a great classic and deserves to be shown!

There's also an auto racing pre-code Betty Boop short you can show called "Betty Boop's Kur-Khoo" (I think that's the title).
And what about a showing of the early Porky cartoon, "Milk and Money" in its black and white print!:) You also might want to make this episode an hour-long one.

I am not where "Cross-Country Detours" was a race cartoon.

I was going to mention it, but I quickly remembered that CN doesn't own that cartoon (unless they have a PD print from one of those "Shokus Video" cartoon collections.)

You should definately show "The Wild Chase".

BTW, I couldn't help but notice that Bugs & Daffy tonight was one half of this special (all 3 Cecil cartoons)... :D
